PLATTEVILLE — The 34-year-old man who has not been seen by relatives or friends since Dec. 4 has now been missing for 2½ weeks.
Ronald Henry Jr. was last seen at a house on Condry Road north of Platteville. Henry’s not being at the house was noticed early Dec. 5, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
A poster posted on Facebook said Henry’s being out of touch “is very out of character for him.”
On Saturday, Search Teams of Wisconsin provided nine people and seven K9s from K9 Emergency Response Teams, Wisconsin K9 SOS Search and Rescue and Minnesota—Wisconsin K9 Search and Rescue searched almost 300 acres of land, but did not find Henry.
Last week the Sheriff’s Office searched the Condry Road property and conducted drone, helicopter and K9 searches. The University of Dubuque Flight School also did an area search.
Henry is described as black, 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds with black eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a blue winter coat, basketball shorts and dark tennis shoes.
The Sheriff’s Office, which received the report of Henry’s disappearance Dec 7, said Dec. 8 that Henry was seen by two eyewitnesses in Platteville after when he originally went missing.
