BELLEVILLE - Authorities are seeking the public's help in locating two 17-year-old girls last seen in Belleville at about 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2.
Larissa Aunet and Josey Scoville have been entered into a nationwide database for missing people. Just prior to their entry into the database, police in Stockton, Ill., reported stopping the girls and then releasing them.
Aunet is 5-foot-4, 120 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes. She was driving a gray/silver 1998 Saab 900 S-Turbo two-door hatchback with the Wisconsin license plate number 911 TYG.
Scoville is 5-foot-8, 125 pounds and has brown hair and green eyes.
All evidence so far indicates the girls left on their own, and no foul play is suspected, according to Sgt. Bill Eichelkraut of the Belleville Police Department.
