Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 6:25 a.m. Monday on County CC, near Fahey Road, in the Town of Exeter. Reports indicate that Sabrina Sue Fordyce, 48, Monroe, was northbound on County CC when she lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a curve. The vehicle overturned and came to a rest on its roof in the middle of the road. Bellville EMS transported Fordyce to Monroe Clinic Hospital for injuries. The vehicle had severe overall damage and was towed from the scene. Fordyce was cited for failing to maintain control of a motor vehicle and open intoxicants in a motor vehicle. The crash shut down County CC for approximately an hour and a half causing traffic to be detoured.

- No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle accident at 7:38 a.m. Monday on Wisconsin 92, west of Dayton Street, in the Town of Exeter. Reports indicate that Betty A. Noreik, 57, Albany, was stopped for a school bus that was stopped with the lights on and arm extended when Noreik was rear-ended by a second vehicle driven by Shelly L. Johnson, 34, Belleville. Both vehicles had moderate damage, but were driven from the scene. Johnson was cited for inattentive driving and no proof of mandatory insurance. She was released.

- Injuries were reported during a go-kart accident at 7:28 p.m. Monday at a residence on County K in the Town of Jefferson. Reports indicate that James J. Jaeggi Jr., 29, Monroe, was operating on private property when Jaeggi lost control of the go-kart causing it to overturn and eject Jaeggi. Jaeggi was transported by the Green County EMS to Monroe Clinic Hospital for injuries he sustained in the crash. Jaeggi was not wearing a helmet or a safety harness. There was minor damage to the go-kart.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 8:03 p.m. Monday on Wis. 104, south of the of the Village of Brooklyn, in the Town of Brooklyn. Reports indicate that Michelle A. Ploessel, 37, Evansville, was south on Wis. 104 when she hit a deer. The vehicle had severe damage to the front and side, and was later towed from the scene.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Holli J. Johnson, 36, Darlington, reported at 5:44 p.m. that she hit a fox in the early morning hours on Monday while on County D in the Town of Fayette. The vehicle had moderate damage.
