MONROE - On Monday:

• Travis J. Disch, 39, Blanchardville, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred in the W7900 block of Wisconsin 39, Town of York, at 3:21 a.m. Disch was eastbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit the front of his vehicle. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• Two people sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Wisconsin 69 at Wittenwyler Road, Town of Mt. Pleasant. Lance A. Rossing, 30, Argyle, was southbound on Wis. 69 and was slowing down to turn onto Wittenwyler Road. Another southbound vehicle driven by Stephen A. Cousino, 36, Portage, reportedly did not observe Rossing slow down and attempted to pass his vehicle on the left. Cousino's vehicle hit the driver's side of Rossing's vehicle. Both driver's sustained injuries in the crash, Rossing was transported by EMS to University of Wisconson Hospital in Madison for treatment. Cousino was transported to Monroe Clinic ER for treatment. Cousino was cited at 6:14 a.m. for inattentive driving and released pending court. Both vehicles were severely damaged and towed from the scene. Deputies, Monticello Fire Department and Monroe EMS responded to the scene. Wis. 69 was closed for about an hour.

• J.T. MacInnis, 63, Monroe, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred in the N8000 block of County CC, Town of Exeter, at 6:21 a.m. MacInnis was northbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit the passenger's side of his vehicle. The vehicle received minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• Joanne E. Allen, 73, Janesville, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred on Wisconsin 11 east of Wisconsin 59, Town of Monroe, at 7:20 a.m. Allen was westbound on Wis. 11 when a deer ran into the roadway and hit her vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was towed from the scene.

• Kristina E. Janisch, 21, Milwaukee, sustained injuries in a one-ATV accident on private property in the W6700 block of County H, Town of New Glarus, at 9:21 a.m. Janisch was backing an ATV and trailer out of a shed when she accidentally hit the throttle and sped up, causing the trailer to jack-knife and throw her from the ATV. Janisch was taken by private vehicle to Monroe Clinic Hospital for treatment. She was not wearing a helmet or eye protection at the time of the accident. The ATV received no damage.
