BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - On July 9, no injuries were reported after a crash in the 500 block of 7th Street. A 23-year-old Brodhead man was cited at 5:15 p.m. for failing to yield at an uncontrolled intersection, driving with a suspended license and without vehicle insurance.

On Friday, no injuries were reported at 2:17 p.m. after a bicycle vs. vehicle crash in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue.



NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - On Wednesday, no injuries were reported at 9:50 p.m. after a hit-and-run crash in the 700 block of Railroad Street.

On Friday, no injuries were reported at 8:15 a.m. after a two-vehicle crash in the 400 block of 5th Street.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday:

• A driver was injured at 3:10 p.m. after a hay merger towed by a tractor driven by Curtis A. Sheldon, 20, Stoughton, suffered a mechanical failure. Sheldon was treated at the scene for his injuries. The hay merger sustained severe damage. The Green County Highway Department responded to damage to the roadway.

• No injuries were reported at 6:41 p.m. after Logyn J. Steinmann, 17, Juda, struck the vehicle of Amy L. Poust, 46, Belvidere, Illinois, and the vehicle of Elizabeth A. Ekum-Jackson, 27, Monroe, at the intersection of County G and Town Center Road, Town of Spring Grove. Steinmann was cited for failing to yield the right of way from a stop sign. Poust's vehicle was towed from the scene with severe damage; the other two vehicles sustained minor damage.

On Saturday, no injuries were reported at 10:05 p.m. after Noah F. Riniker, 20, New Glarus, struck a fallen tree in the W6500 block of Pioneer Road, Town of New Glarus. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene. The tree was removed from the road.

On Sunday, no injuries were reported at 12:25 a.m. after Timothy L. Czech, 51, Elk Mound, struck the vehicle of George K. Yoder, 42, Juda, at the intersection of Wis. 81 and County J, Town of Monroe. Czech was arrested for driving while intoxicated (third offense) and was cited for failing to yield the right of way from a stop sign. Czech was jailed. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Friday, no injuries were reported at 2:13 p.m. after Tyu R. Voegeli, 24, Monroe, struck a deer on North Lafayette Street in Argyle.

On Saturday, no injuries were reported at 10:49 a.m. after a vehicle driven by Mark D. Hinderman, 59, Darlington, had its hood detach while driving on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

On Sunday, no injuries were reported at 3:12 p.m. after Ronald V. Kowalski, 62, Cuba City, struck a deer on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.
