BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - On July 3, no injuries were reported at 2:56 p.m. after a crash in the 1200 block of East 9th Avenue.

On Thursday, no injuries were reported and a 28-year-old Janesville man was cited at 5:11 p.m. for inattentive driving after a crash in the 700 block of 1st Street.

On Friday:

• No injuries were reported at 3:29 p.m. after a crash in the 1500 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• No injuries were reported at 7:35 p.m. after a hit-and-run crash in the 1000 block of West Exchange Street.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday:

• No injuries were reported at 12:03 p.m. after Caylor R. Burns, 16, Footville, lost control of his vehicle as it struck a utility pole in the W1500 block of County F, Town of Decatur. His vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 10:08 p.m. after Damian M. Dressler, 30, Brodhead, struck and killed a dog in the N1200 block of County G, Town of Spring Grove. The dog, a small brown-and-white dog with a red collar, had no identifying information to locate the owner and no nearby residents recognized the dog. Dressler's vehicle sustained minor damage.

On Saturday:

• A motorcyclist was injured at 2:55 p.m. after Todd M. Waitrovich, 61, Verona, rear-ended a vehicle at the intersection of Wis. 69 and Windmill Ridge Road, Town of New Glarus. Waitrovich's bike tipped over after striking the vehicle, causing minor injuries. Waitrovich declined medical treatment. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 5:10 p.m. after an unknown vehicle struck a parked vehicle at Camp Sweet Minihaha in the Town of Decatur. The vehicle sustained minor damage.

On Sunday:

• A driver was injured at 1:11 a.m. after Mark A. Flood, 51, Albany, lost control of his vehicle and left the roadway, driving into a yard and striking a culvert, causing his car to become airborne in the N6800 block of County D, Town of Mount Pleasant. Flood's vehicle then struck a mailbox, a corn dryer, a guide wire and a grain elevator before coming to a halt. Flood was transported to an area hospital and was arrested for driving while intoxicated, third offense, and cited for speeding and failing to maintain control of a vehicle. His vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 5:17 a.m. after a tanker truck driven by Andrew J. Holmes, 50, Madison, struck a parked truck owned by Christina L. Weiler, 39, Monroe, in the parking lot of Grande Cheese in the Town of Sylvester. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene.
