Monroe Police

MONROE - Tina K. Straws, 50, Monroe, and her passenger were taken to Monroe Clinic ER for treatment of non-life threatening injuries after police responded at 9:01 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, to a car vs. utility pole accident at 15th Avenue and 9th Street. Straws reported she was blinded by sunlight and hit the utility pole as she was reaching up to adjust her visor.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - No injuries were reported in a crash at 3:29 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, in a mobile home park at 501 14th Avenue. Deven P. Riley, 18, Monroe, lost control of a 2005 Kia Sedona van and collided with a sign. Road conditions were a factor in the crash.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Citations are pending in a two-vehicle accident with no injuries on Monroe Street in Argyle at 5:05 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15. Ashley R. Neuenschwander, 16, Monroe, was northbound on Green Street when she failed to yield right of way and hit a vehicle driven by Brandi S. Ihus, 32, Mineral Point.
