MONROE - On Thursday, Dec. 19:
No injuries were reported at 7:03 a.m. following a two-vehicle accident on Five Corner Road in Jefferson Township. Krystal L. Zahradka, 37, Monroe, was watching her children get on to a school bus when she traveled too far left of center and side-swiped a vehicle driven by Ethan J. Adkins, 19, Monroe. The vehicles sustained minor damage.
Robert P. Bennett, 25, Monticello, was uninjured following a one-vehicle accident at the N4900 block of County N in Washington Township reported at 8:31 a.m. Bennett hit a deer, lost control on the snow-covered roadway and hit a guardrail before he fled the scene. His vehicle sustained severe damage. Citations are pending.
Deputies responded to eight vehicles in the ditch throughout Green County. No injuries or damages were reported.

DARLINGTON - On Thursday, Dec. 19:
No injuries were reported at 7:07 p.m. after deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident on Wis. 78 in Gratiot Township. Sarah M. Fiala, 18, Wheaton, Ill., was traveling south when she lost control due to icy roads. Fiala left the roadway and came to rest near a fence. Her vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene after being removed by a tow truck.
Corey S. Manlick, 26, Monroe, was uninjured following a one-vehicle accident on Wis. 23 in Willow Springs Township reported at 7:19 p.m. Manlick was traveling southbound when he failed to negotiate a curve due to icy roads. Manlick traveled down an embankment and hit a mailbox. His vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.
