GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF
MONROE - A vehicle driven by Walter J. Rufener, 54, Monroe, collided with a turkey that flew into the side of his vehicle at about 12:15 p.m. Thursday in the N5200 block of Center Road. The vehicle received minor damage.

DARLINGTON - Two people were injured when a motorcycle hit a deer at about 6:45 p.m. Thursday on North Lake Road in Blanchard township. Deputies report a motorcycle driven by Nathaniel L. Meredth, 29, Mineral Point, hit a deer that crossed in front of the motorcycle. Meredith and his passenger, Jimmee L. Colin, 26, Mineral Point, sustained injuries and were taken to Upland Hills Hospital in Dodgeville. The motorcycle received moderate damages.
No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 11 p.m. Thursday on Wisconsin 11 in Wayne township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by D. Duane Shaw, 38, Argyle, hit a utility trailer pulled by a vehicle driven by Marie M. Stietz, 48, Gratiot. Shaw's vehicle and the trailer received minor damage. Shaw was cited for following too closely.
