Monroe Police

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 8:15 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Wisconsin 69 and 17th Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Allen G. Alt, 53, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Duane A. Benfer, 64, Winslow, Ill. Benfer was cited for failure to yield right of way from a stop sign and released pending court. Both vehicles received moderate damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Patrick J. Herbst, 46, Gratiot, reported striking a deer at about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday on South Dublin Road in Gratiot township. Herbst reported no injuries and his vehicle received moderate damage.

• B. Mark Garvey, 50, Argyle, reported striking a deer at about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday on County N in Argyle township. Garvey reported no injuries and his vehicle received moderate damage.
