Stephanie L. Johnson, age 39 of rural Argyle, WI passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017 at her home after fighting a courageous battle with Lupus. She was born April 20, 1978 in Madison, WI the daughter of Doreen Farrey and Jeffrey Soll. Stephanie graduated from Argyle High School in 1996 and later received a Nursing Degree from Southwest Technical College in Fennimore, WI. She was united in marriage to Jay Johnson on April 3, 1999 at Apple Grove Lutheran Church in rural Argyle. Stephanie grew up in Argyle and has remained in the area her entire life. Following her marriage to Jay, she raised her family and after receiving her nursing degree worked for Liberty Dialysis at The Monroe Clinic Hospital. Due to Stephanie's illness she was no longer able to work which allowed her to stay home and spend precious time with her family.
Stephanie is survived by her husband Jay at home; two precious sons: Jared and Jayden Johnson at home; her Parents: Doreen (Dick) Weiler of Monroe, WI; her mother and father-in-law: Geri (Dennis) Johnson of rural Argyle; three brothers: Duane Rodebaugh of Monroe, Cory (Christy Klosterman) Rodebaugh of rural Blanchardville, WI, and Ethan (Jodi Connors) Weiler of Belleville, WI; four sisters: Misty Rodebaugh, Christina Weiler, Kailyn (Colton) Seffrood, and Shawna (Brock Reeson) Rodebaugh all of Monroe; one brother-in-law: Shane (Lori Zradicka) Johnson; a very special cousin: Michelle Godfrey of Argyle; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Dick (Alice) Farrey; step-father: Dennis Rodebaugh; father: Jeff Soll; and one nephew: Blaine Rodebaugh.
Stephanie cherished her family more than anything else in the world. She loved watching her two boy's play a variety of sports ranging from baseball and hockey to bowling. She was a true sports fan and always loved watching the Milwaukee Brewers. Stephanie was passionate about her job as a nurse and always enjoyed helping her patients and their families. She was a well-liked, kind, and gentle human being that will be missed by so many, especially her family.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Apple Grove Lutheran Church (14501 Apple Grove Church Road, Argyle) with Rev. Daniel L. Bohlman officiating. Burial will be in Apple Grove Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held Monday, July 24, 2017 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Erickson Funeral Home (801 Milwaukee Street, Argyle) and again on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. at the Church.
