NEW GLARUS - A New Glarus teen was injured in a one-vehicle accident Saturday, Dec. 14 in New Glarus.

Green County deputies and New Glarus Fire and EMS responded to the accident at 7 p.m. on County N south of County NN in the town of New Glarus. Officials said Anastasia K. Werner, 18, was northbound when she lost control while negotiating a curve. Werner's vehicle entered the ditch and collided with a fence.

Werner was injured and she was transported to Meriter Hospital. The vehicle was moderately damaged on the driver side and front end and was towed from the scene. No citations were issued.

Snow-covered, slippery roads contributed to the crash, officials said.
