Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - Kenneth M. Johnson, 22, Albany, was cited Sunday, Aug. 5, on two counts of issuing worthless checks.

- Travis L. Hawkins, 32, Brodhead, was cited Sunday, Aug. 5, for issuing worthless checks.

- Ciarra A. Settles, 18, Janesville, was cited Sunday, Aug. 5, on four counts of issuing worthless checks.

- Jessica L. Olvera-Barron, 35, Brodhead, was arrested on charges of domestic battery and disorderly conduct at 11:35 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, in the 1000 block of 21st Street. She was released on a cash bond, pending court.

- Emilee R. Brittain, 22, Janesville, was cited for speeding at 1:20 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, in the 700 block of 1st Center Avenue.

- Jahan K. Hotzel, 21, Janesville, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and unsafe backing of a vehicle at 2:05 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, in the 1900 block of East 9th Avenue. Hotzel was released with a court date.

- Todd A. Green, 36, Brodhead, was arrested on charges of domestic disorderly conduct and battery at 11:14 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, in the 1500 block of East 2nd Avenue. He was jailed.

Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Richard V. Koss, 36, Albany, was cited for failing to have motor vehicle insurance and for failing to wear a seatbelt Friday, Aug. 10, following a traffic crash on Main Street. Ashlee K. Hicks, a passenger, was also cited for failing to wear a seatbelt.

- Candelario Ortega-Sanchez, 17, Darlington, was arrested on charges of sexual assault of a child and exposing a child to harmful material Saturday, Aug. 11, following an investigation at a residence on Main Street. He was jailed pending court.

- Andrew J.P. Rothfelder, 19, Milton, was cited for operating an ATV in a careless manner Saturday, Aug. 11, following a traffic crash on the Darlington Recreation Trail.

- Romeo De Jesus Villatoro-Martinez, 26, and Evaristo Hernandez-Landa, 32, both of Darlington, were cited for disorderly conduct following an incident Saturday, Aug. 11, at 305 Ann Street.

- Kayla Kujava, 19, Shullsburg, was cited for operating a motor vehicle in violation of permittee restrictions Sunday, Aug. 12, following a traffic stop on Keep Street.

Monroe Police

MONROE - Anthony Lopez-Herrera, 22, Monroe, was arrested on domestic abuse-related charges of disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property after police responded to a report of a disturbance in the 500 block of West 21st Street at 1:24 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11. Lopez-Herrera allegedly punched a 22-year-old woman, broke a laptop computer and a mirror and threw stuff around the home. He pleaded not guilty Monday, Aug. 13, to the two misdemeanor charges in Green County Circuit Court. His signature bond is set at $1,000.

- Michael A. Laffin, 21, Monroe, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, intimidation of a victim, criminal damage to property and bail jumping in the 2300 block of 5th Avenue after police responded at 9:20 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, to a report that Laffin was out of control and had kicked a vehicle, causing a dent. He pleaded not guilty Monday to the four misdemeanor charges in Green County Circuit Court. His signature bond is set at $1,000.

- Logan R. Koch, 19, Monroe, was cited at about 11:45 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, for keeping a disorderly house in the 2400 block of 12th Street. Police issued the citation after receiving complaints about a party at Koch's residence the previous night. Officers are also investigating an assault that allegedly happened during the party.

- Vehicle tires were slashed, causing an estimated $100 in damage, in the 1000 block of 13th Avenue at 12:18 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8.

- A resident in the 500 block of 10th Avenue was issued a warning notice at 10:40 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, to clean up weeds in the yard.

- The siding on a house in the 1700 block of 15th Street was reportedly kicked and damaged by an unknown person at 5:47 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9.

- A homeless man was warned for trespassing at a residence in the 1800 block of 10th Street at 11:09 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10.

- Police took a complaint that a car had been keyed in the 900 block of 23rd Street at 1:24 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10. There are no suspects.

- An intoxicated man who had been drinking at an establishment east of Monroe was found standing at an intersection in the city at 3:09 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, and given a ride home.

- A person was warned for walking a dog in Twining Park, 400 14th Ave., at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11.

- A 59-year-old Monroe man was warned for riding a bicycle on the sidewalks on the downtown Square, a violation of city code, at 3:51 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11.

- A property owner in the 100 block of North 18th Avenue was issued a warning notice at 8:16 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, to mow the lawn and clean up a bag of garbage, a tire and other junk in the yard.

- Police took a complaint that a truck had been keyed in the 200 block of Old Argyle Road at 11:37 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 12.

- An officer was dispatched at 1:19 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, to a report of a man refusing to leave Monroe Clinic, 515 22nd Ave. The officer convinced the man to leave.

- A 15-year-old girl allegedly kicked a caregiver at a group home in the 1700 block of 15th Street. Police took the report at 1:41 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, and referred the case to juvenile intake for a possible disorderly conduct citation.

- Police were dispatched to a mother-daughter argument in the 500 block of West 21st Street at 1:44 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12. The incident was referred to juvenile intake for a possible disorderly conduct citation.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Brandt A. Schmidt, 22, Freeport, Ill., was arrested on a probation violation at 5:26 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, after police stopped him for a vehicle registration violation in the 1400 block of Wisconsin 69.

- Chelsey A. Voigt, 18, New Glarus, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after police responded to a report of a physical disturbance within the village at 8:38 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12.

- Christopher T. Lenkiewicz, 42, New Glarus, was cited for an expired vehicle registration at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, on 6th Avenue at 3rd Street.

- Kevin M. Lienhardt, 20, New Glarus, was cited Thursday, Aug. 9, for two counts of destruction of property, operating an ATV on the roadway and driving with a revoked license. Police issued the citations as the result of an investigation into several reports of criminal damage to property and vandalism on Aug. 2.

- Kyawn R. Lewis, 37, DeForest, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, after police stopped him for speeding on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue.

- Jeremy J. Andreas, 33, Fitchburg, was cited for driving without a valid license at 8:57 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, after police stopped him for an equipment violation in the 1200 block of Wis. 69.

- Police took a complaint at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, that several lawn statues had been stole from a residence in the 400 block of 8th Street. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call dispatch at 527-2145.

- Police took a report at 4:07 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, of three people attempting to enter vehicles in the 200 block of 4th Avenue. A witness confronted the individuals, who then ran toward the 100 block of 5th Avenue. One subject got into a dark red Mazda and fled the scene, striking the witness and causing minor injuries. The other two subjects continued running on foot. Police are continuing to investigate. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call dispatch at 527-2145.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Ariel A. Kauk, 25, Albany, was cited for failure to keep a vehicle under control, failure to notify police of an accident and for driving without vehicle insurance after deputies responded to a rollover crash at 5:41 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, on County E at Attica Road in the Town of Albany. Kauk had fled the scene by the time deputies arrived but was later located and identified at her residence. Kauk was southbound on County E at about 3:45 a.m. when she reported she was traveling too fast for the corner and veered onto the gravel shoulder, lost control and left the road. The vehicle rolled over onto the driver's side and came to a rest. Kauk reported no injuries and was warned for not wearing a seatbelt. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Andy L. Little, 33, Cedar Falls, Iowa, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont at 4:06 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11. He was also cited for non-registration of an auto, driving with a suspended license, having open intoxicants in a motor vehicle and driving with no vehicle insurance. He was released pending court.

- Dylan M. Peterson, 20, Madison, was cited for driving with a revoked license and no vehicle insurance at 10:16 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, on Wisconsin 11 in South Wayne.

- Christopher J. Peterson, 48, Mason City, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 12:02 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, on Wis. 11 in the Town of Gratiot.

- Nathan M. Ley, 26, Milwaukee, was cited for speeding and driving without vehicle insurance at 12:53 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Paige K. Prichard, 30, Milwaukee, was cited for speeding and driving without vehicle insurance at 1:12 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Randi R. Mundth, 26, Avoca, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance at 1:27 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Thomas M. Lindblade, 69, Rockford, Ill., was cited for speeding at 1:42 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, on Wisconsin 81 in the Town of Darlington.

- Keith T. Bass, Sr., 47, Rock Island, Ill., was cited for speeding at 1:50 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Stephen C. McGuire, 64, Galena, Ill., was cited for failure to merge for an emergency vehicle and driving without vehicle insurance at 1:55 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Robert M. Fulwood, 43, Dubuque, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 2:38 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Ryan G. Higgins, 37, Sauk City, was cited for speeding and driving without vehicle insurance at 3:08 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Mary C. Ballok, 34, Rockford, Ill., was cited for speeding at 3:14 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Marc E. Dlouhy, 52, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was cited for failure to merge for an emergency vehicle at 3:25 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Brent A. Durgin, 42, Anamosa, Iowa, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 3:46 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, on the Cheese Country Trail.

- Stephanie Nicholson, 32, Verona, was cited for speeding at 3:56 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Daryl K. DeNure, 55, Monroe, was cited for an expired vehicle registration and failure to stop at a stop sign at 9:17 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, on Trotter Road in the Town of Wiota.

- Randall L. Tollakson, 41, South Wayne, was cited for inattentive driving, driving without vehicle insurance, failure to have control and failure to notify police of an accident after a deputy responded to a one-vehicle accident on County N in the Town of Wayne at 10:53 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11. The South Wayne Fire Department, South Wayne First Response and Monroe Ambulance also responded to the scene. Tollakson reported falling asleep just before the vehicle traveled down an embankment and rolled onto its side. He then left the scene and was found a short time later at his residence.

- Tiffany J. Tinder, 21, Beloit, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 1:49 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, on Wis. 11 in the Town of Gratiot.

- Justin W. Diddens, 28, Dubuque, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 4:44 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, on County W in the Town of White Oak Springs.

- Rodrigo Perez-Ramirez, 49, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid license after a deputy responded at 5:02 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, to a traffic complaint of a disabled vehicle on Wis. 81 in Darlington.

- A theft of prescription medication was reported at 5:45 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, from a residence on McClintock Lane in the Town of Blanchard.
