Michael L. Sigafus, age 44, of Monroe, died on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at his home. He was born on March 24, 1969 in Cuba City, Wisconsin the son of Herbert and Sharon (Signer) Sigafus.
Michael was a 1987 graduate of Black Hawk High School.
Michael was employed at Judds Auto Body. He enjoyed bow hunting, volleyball, riding his Harley and enjoyed following his nieces and nephews sports.
He is survived by his parents, Herbert and Sharon Sigafus of Gratiot, maternal grandmother, Lucille Signer of Gratiot, brother, Brian (Jamie) Sigafus of Gratiot; nieces and nephew: Mikayla, Aleigha and Nathan; special family friend Trevor Nicholas; aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Milo and Genevieve Sigafus; maternal grandfather, Wallace Signer.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2014 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home with Pastor Glenn Andes officiating. Burial will follow at Gratiot Methodist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Michael's name.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Dr., and 18th Ave in Monroe.
