Jon H. Hartwig, age 53, of Browntown, WI, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at his home. He was born April 29, 1960 in Darlington, WI, the son of Harvey and Shirley (Erickson) Hartwig. Jon graduated from Argyle High School in 1978. He lived in the Argyle and South Wayne areas most of his life. Jon enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his dogs.

Jon is survived by one brother: Walter "Wally" (Theresa) Hartwig of South Wayne, WI; one sister: Shirlene (Daniel) Chart of Stoughton, WI; his children: Dallas, Kaden, and Jaylin all of Argyle, WI; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother: Shirley on December 17, 2010; and his father: Harvey on February 4, 2012.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at Apple Grove Lutheran Church, 14501 Apple Grove Church Road in rural Argyle with Rev. Daniel L. Bohlman officiating. Burial will be in Apple Grove Lutheran Church Cemetery in rural Argyle. A visitation will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Apple Grove Lutheran Church.
