MONROE - An ambulance was dispatched Thursday, Aug. 16:
• At 12:19 p.m. to the intersection of 9th Street and 25th Avenue.
• At 12:39 p.m. to the 800 block of 6th Street.
• At 8:28 p.m. to the 2500 block of 1st Street.
Monroe Fire
MONROE - The Monroe and Juda Fire Departments were dispatched at about 3 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, to a silo fire at a farm on County KS near Twin Grove Road. A conveyor system at the base of two silos was fully in flames. The flames had gone up the silo shoots, burning the wooden silo doors and catching some silage on fire.
