Felonies

James J. Rossetti, 36, Brodhead, was found guilty on April 18, after pleading no contest to possession with the intent to deliver or distribute THC on or near a park, a Class I Felony; and to intimidating a witness, a class A Misdemeanor, stemming from Nov. 16, 2010 incident. The court sentenced Rossetti to two-years of probation and fined him $761.

Courts indicate that Rossetti intended to distribute THC in an amount of more than 1,000 grams, and intended to distribute within 1,000 feet of Putnam Park in Brodhead. Rossetti, records say, threatened a witness in the case.

Misdemeanors

Matthew L. Wyss, 35, Monroe, was found guilty April 21 after pleading no contest to an unclassified forfeiture charge of disorderly conduct on or about Dec. 11, 2010. He was fined $330.50.
