TOWN of NEWARK - Charly May Brown, age 15 months, daughter of Ben and Kate (Burchard) Brown, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 29, 2008, at Rockford Memorial Hospital, Rockford, IL, following an accident. She was born on February 6, 2007 in Janesville, WI.
Charly loved playing with her brothers and 'showing-off.' She also liked playing with her dolls, playing ball, and playing 'dress-up.'
She is survived by her parents, Ben and Kate, three brothers, Byron, Gavon, Korben, all of the Town of Newark, maternal grandparents, Gary Burchard, Brodhead, Dawn (Kurt) Leach, Juda, WI, paternal grandparents, Dennis (Gayle) Brown, Beloit, WI, maternal great-grandparents, Larry (Kathleen) Dustan, Janesville, WI, and Robert Kenney, Evansville, WI. She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents, Elvin (Georgena) Brown, and Earl (Violet) Jeffers.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2008, at the Footville Church of Christ, Footville, WI, with Pastor John Thomson officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Brodhead, WI.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2008, at the D. L. NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, BRODHEAD, WI. A memorial fund will be established.
