WINSLOW - A. Charles "Chuck" Dunlavey, 72 of Winslow passed away on June 30, 2012 at his home following a long illness. He was born on October 12, 1939 in Monroe, WI and was the son of Walter W. and Helen I. (Gibbons) Dunlavey. Charles married Karen Lynch in Monroe, WI on July 21, 1963. He farmed in the Winslow area for many years and also drove truck and was the Winslow Township Road Commissioner for 13 years. Chuck also worked at Walmart in Monroe for 5 years. He enjoyed gardening, flowers, and taking care of his yard. Chuck was a member of the Winslow Fire Department and the Martintown Community Church.

He is survived by his wife Karen of Winslow, 3 sons Kevin (Valerie) of Browntown, WI, Brian (Staci) of Lena and Brett (Kim Kloepfer) Dunlavey of Winslow, IL; 5 grandchildren Alex, Bennett, Seth, Cole, and Blake Dunlavey and 2 sisters Mary Neuenschwander of Brodhead, WI, Donna (Ray) Knutson of Rockford, IL, 2 brothers Robert (Betty) Dunlavey of Monroe, WI, and Donald Dunlavey of Warren, IL and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers; Joseph, Francis, and Walter.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday July 3, 2012 at the Leamon Funeral Home in Lena, IL.

Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday July 3, 2012 at the Leamon Funeral Home

Luncheon to follow in Winslow, IL.

Officiating will be Pastor Robert Patin.

Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday July 5, 2012 at Cadiz Saucerman Cemetery Browntown, WI.

A memorial has been established in his name.
