DARLINGTON — Margaret E. Stangeland, 70, Blanchardville, was cited for theft Aug. 27 following a complaint at a garage sale on Colina Verde Court.
● Timothy W. McGowen, 57, Monroe, was arrested on a felony fifth-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at about 10:15 p.m. Aug. 28 following a traffic stop on Washington Street. He was also cited for possession of open intoxicants. He was jailed.
● Dylan A. Gomez, 19, Rockford, Illinois, was cited for possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia at about 3:30 a.m. August 31, following police contact with a suspicious vehicle at a business on Wis. 23.

MONTICELLO — A missing 8-year-old black cat without a collar was reported at 6:10 p.m. Aug. 22 in the 400 block of Washington Street.
On Aug. 23:
● Police cited a vehicle at 3:16 a.m. for being parked after-hours in the 200 block of North Main Street.
● A suspicious person was reported at 8:28 p.m. in the 500 block of Washington Street.
On Aug. 25:
● Bradley Eno, 53, Barneveld, was cited for speeding at 4:46 p.m. on East Washington Avenue at South Pratt Road.
● A 911 hang-up was reported at 6:13 p.m. in the 300 block of East Lake Avenue. Everything appeared to be fine.
On Aug. 27:
● Cindy Marsh, 45, Brodhead, was cited for expired registration at 10:25 a.m. on Adams Road at County F.
● William Lounsbury, 49, Belleville, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 11:05 a.m. on North Pratt Road at East Lake Avenue.
● Blake Beightol, 20, Orangeville, was cited for driving without a valid license at 4:10 p.m. on Wis. 69 at West Coates Avenue.
On Aug. 28:
● A dog running at large was reported at 5:07 p.m. in the 500 block of West Coates Avenue. The dog was returned to its owner.
● A 911 hang-up was reported at 6:41 p.m. in the 200 block of West North Avenue. Everything appeared to be fine.
● Police assisted a citizen at 8:15 p.m. in the 100 block of North Main Street with blocking unwanted calls.
● Police assisted with traffic control at 8:29 p.m. at North Main Street and East Coates Avenue.
● Police assisted the Green County Sheriff’s Office with a traffic complaint on Wis. 69 at 8:40 p.m.
● Police conducted a welfare check at 11:40 p.m. in the 100 block of North Main Street. The investigation is ongoing.
On Aug. 30:
● Dawn Rea, 46, Monroe, was cited for excessive rear side-window tint at 12:25 p.m. in the 200 block of Wis. 69.
● Police assisted with traffic control at 12:48 p.m. at North Main Street and East Coates Avenue.
● A traffic complaint was reported at 1:48 p.m. on Wis. 69 at Lake Avenue. The vehicle was not located.
● Police located debris in the roadway at 2:11 p.m. in the 200 block of Wis. 69. The debris was removed.
Green County Sheriff
MONROE — Aaron D. Blazier, 27, Janesville, was arrested on a second-offense charge of operating while under the influence after deputies and Albany police responded at 6:15 p.m. Aug. 29 to a complaint of a vehicle crossing the center line and being driven in the ditch. The vehicle was located and stopped on Wis. 104 near Atkinson Road, Town of Albany, and Blazier was identified as the driver. He was also arrested on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections hold and cited for operating left of center. He was jailed.
● An altercation between two groups of people on the Sugar River was reported south of Albany in the area of the Sweet Minihaha Campground at 6:24 p.m. Aug. 29. Two people from Madison reported being punched in the face. The incident remained under investigation as deputies worked to identify suspects.
● Taylor J. Duell, 20, Belleville, was arrested and jailed on a domestic abuse-related charge of disorderly conduct after deputies responded to a report of a disturbance at 2:49 a.m. Aug. 30 at a residence in the N8800 block of County D, Town of Exeter. The Dane County Sheriff’s Office and Oregon police assisted deputies with the investigation.
