Albany Police

ALBANY — On Friday, Sept. 13:

●  Thomas J. Alexander, 57, Albany, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

●  Matthew J. Organ, 31, Madison, was cited for driving with a suspended license.

On Saturday, Sept. 14:

●  John L. Carothers Muszynski, 27, Albany, was arrested on charges of driving with a revoked license and no vehicle insurance and failing to install an ignition interlock device. He was also arrested for a probation violation.

On Sunday, Sept. 15:

●  Jade A. Durmaj, 18, Oregon, was cited for driving with a suspended license.

●  Justin J. Debord, 24, Monroe, was cited for non-registration of an auto.


Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD — For the week of Sept. 8-14, police performed 55 security checks, 36 citizen assists, 13 assists of other agencies, nine vehicle registrations and eight follow-ups to incidents; responded to 38 calls for service, four EMS calls, one fire call and 13 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls; and made eight traffic stops. No detox or mental health transports were reported.

On Monday, Sept. 9:

●  A code violation of a junk vehicle was reported at 5:04 p.m. in the 400 block of 8th Street.

●  A Janesville man, 50, was cited for driving with a revoked license and speeding at 6:37 p.m. in the 800 block of 23rd Street. He was also arrested on a warrant issued by the Janesville Police Department.

●  A Brodhead man, 76, was cited for trespassing at 7:47 p.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue.

●  A Beloit man, 21, was cited for operating a motor vehicle without insurance at 8:08 p.m. in the 200 block of 1st Street.

●  A Gulfport, Mississippi man, 20, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 9:01 p.m. in the 900 block of 21st Street.

On Tuesday, Sept. 10:

●  The theft of a bicycle was reported at 8:11 p.m. in the 900 block of 19th Street. It was later recovered and returned to the owner.

On Thursday, Sept. 12:

●  A domestic problem involving a verbal disagreement was reported at 6:38 a.m. in the 1400 block of West 2nd Avenue. Police made contact, and the matter was resolved.

●  A code violation of a person using an Airsoft gun within city limits was reported at 7:55 a.m. in the 300 block of 14th Street. It remained under investigation.

●  A traffic crash was reported at 8:32 a.m. in the 1400 block of East 4th Avenue. Due to the incident being a non-reportable crash, no citations were issued.

On Friday, Sept. 13:

●  Barking dogs were reported at 6:55 a.m. in the 1200 block of East 5th Avenue. Upon police arrival, no violation was located.

●  A Janesville woman, 29, was cited for speeding at 2:19 p.m. in the 400 block of 1st Center Avenue.

●  A Janesville man, 61, was cited for speeding at 2:35 p.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street.

●  A Brodhead woman, 17, was cited for speeding at 3:49 p.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street.

●  A dog at large was reported at 6:18 p.m. in the 1200 block of 1st Center Avenue. The owner was warned.

On Saturday, Sept. 14:

●  A Janesville woman, 45, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 12:10 a.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue.

●  A person causing a disturbance was reported at 3:14 p.m. in the 1600 block of East 8th Avenue. Police issued a warning.

●  A Brodhead woman, 54, was arrested on a second-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at 8:06 p.m. in the 1300 block of 1st Center Avenue.


Darlington Police

DARLINGTON — Michael McKillip, 61, Darlington, was cited for obstructions and encroachments violations at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, following a complaint in the 200 block of Washington Street. The citation was related to a business, Mike’s Engine Works, obstructing an alleyway, public parking lot and public terrace with private property.

●  Jacklyn Donaldson, 27, Platteville, was cited for speeding at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, on Wis. 23.

●  Thomasina T. Beranek, 18, Darlington, was cited for non-registration of an auto at 10:25 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, following a traffic stop on Alice Street.

●  Adam N. O’Brien, 38, Darlington, was cited for hit-and-run to an unattended vehicle, failure to notify police of an accident and inattentive driving at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, following a report of a hit-and-run crash on Main Street.

●  Alyssa D. Tiegs, 25, Platteville, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at about 12:15 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, following a traffic stop on East Catherine Street. She was also cited for driving with a suspended registration and possession of open intoxicants.

●  Nelson D. Amaya-Perea, 31, Darlington, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at 3:07 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, following a traffic stop on Ohio Street. Amaya-Perea was also cited for driving with a suspended license.

●  Alejandro Gonzalez-Garcia, 26, Darlington, was arrested on charges of battery and disorderly conduct at 12:58 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, following a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence on Louisa Street. He was taken to the jail, where he later posted bond and was released.

●  Preston J. Bevins, 20, Argyle, was arrested on charges of driving with a revoked license and failure to install an ignition interlock device at 10:38 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, following a suspicious activity complaint on East Lucy Street. He was also arrested on five warrants out of Platteville and Grant County. He was transported to the Grant County Jail. A Lafayette County Sheriff’s deputy assisted on scene.


Monroe Police

MONROE — On Saturday, Sept. 14:

●  Raymond R. Kasper, 27, Monroe, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:29 a.m. following a traffic stop in the 600 block of 26th Street. He was booked and released pending court.

●  Jeremy A. Rutledge, 40, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of felony bail jumping at 6:27 a.m. following a call on an unrelated matter at a residence in the 2000 block of 15th Avenue. During the investigation, officers determined Rutledge had been drinking alcohol in violation of court-ordered bail conditions from a prior case. He was jailed pending court.

●  Dakota C. J. Lorenz, 26, Monroe, was arrested on a second-offense charge of operating while intoxicated after officers responded at 5:11 p.m. to a minor two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries in a parking lot in the 1000 block of 4th Avenue West. Lorenz had backed from a parking stall into a parked vehicle. After a blood sample was obtained, Lorenz was booked and then released to a responsible person pending court.

●  Charles A. Sulzer, 61, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of retail theft and cited for driving with a suspended license and no proof of vehicle insurance at 6:27 p.m. following a traffic stop in the 1000 block of 12th Avenue. The traffic citations and retail theft charge are unrelated. During the traffic stop, an investigating officer interviewed Sulzer about an earlier report of shoplifting at a business in the 200 block of 8th Street, and Sulzer was arrested on the retail theft charge as a result. He was released pending court.

On Tuesday, Sept. 17:

●  Jonathan D. D. Sole, 27, Monroe, was arrested during a traffic stop at 4:07 a.m. on North 18th Avenue at Wis. 11/81 on a Dane County warrant for failure to appear in court for a disorderly conduct case. He was also cited for driving with a suspended license and no proof of vehicle insurance. He was jailed.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Brenda L. Steiner, 36, Monroe, was arrested on a Department of Corrections probation hold at the Green County Probation and Parole Office in Monroe at 11:08 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13. She was jailed.

●  Kendall A. Hilts, 25, Beloit, was cited for driving with a revoked license after being stopped for speeding in the W8200 block of Wis. 81, Town of Jordan, at 8:31 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14.

●  Alan J. Zweifel, 40, Scottsdale, Arizona, was arrested on a domestic abuse-related charge of disorderly conduct after deputies responded to a report of an altercation in the W5400 block of County NN, Town of New Glarus, at 12:56 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15. New Glarus police assisted on at the scene.

On Monday, Sept. 16:

●  Charles A. Sulzer, 61, Monroe, was arrested on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections probation hold at 8:57 a.m. at the Green County Probation and Parole Office in Monroe. He was jailed.

●  Kristine K. Jambrek, 52, Monticello, was arrested on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections probation hold at 4:11 p.m. at the Green County Probation and Parole Office in Monroe. She was jailed.

On Tuesday, Sept. 17:

●  Karen L. Wirth, 57, Monroe, was arrested at 12:47 p.m. on two counts of disorderly conduct and two counts of battery, all domestic abuse-related, stemming from an investigation into a report at 11:08 a.m. the previous day of an altercation that had occurred at Wirth’s residence in the W4500 block of Samson Road, Town of Jefferson. Deputies were unable to locate Wirth until her arrest on Tuesday. She was also arrested on a Department of Corrections probation hold. She was jailed pending court.

●  Amy J. Woodyatt, 24, Freeport, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while under the influence of drugs after deputies stopped her for speeding at 2:52 a.m. in the W1100 block of Wis. 11, Town of Spring Grove. She was also cited for driving without a valid license and possessing drug paraphernalia. She was released pending court.

●  Carlos Angel Lavariega, 17, Beloit, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while under the influence of drugs after deputies stopped him for speeding at 3:22 p.m. in the W2000 block of Wis. 11, Town of Spring Grove. He was also cited for speeding and for possessing THC. He was released pending court. The Green County K9 team assisted in the investigation.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Thursday, Sept. 12:

●  Amber M. Gleason, 28, Platteville, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 6:44 a.m. on East Wisconsin Avenue in Belmont.

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 5:52 p.m. on Alvin Street in Blanchardville.

●  Disorderly conduct was reported at 7:07 p.m. on Main Street in Gratiot.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 7:51 p.m. on Faymont Road, Town of Fayette.

●  Deputies and the following agencies responded at about 8 p.m. to various locations in the county for weather-related incidents: the Darlington, Shullsburg, Benton and Belmont fire departments; Belmont EMS and Benton First Response; Darlington, Shullsburg and Belmont police; the Lafayette County Highway Department; and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.

●  A civil dispute was reported at 8:20 p.m. on 3rd Street in Benton.

●  A large amount of flooding and water entering a building was reported at 8:35 p.m. on South Park Street in Belmont. The Belmont Fire Department responded. Belmont police assisted on scene.

●  A deputy assisted Belmont police with a domestic dispute at 9:52 p.m. on North Park Street in Belmont.

On Friday, Sept. 13:

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 12:18 a.m. on Jenson Lane, Town of Kendall.

●  A traffic hazard of water on the roadway was reported at 3:03 a.m. on Twin Bridge Road, Town of New Diggings.

●  A deputy responded for an alarm at 6:27 a.m. on South State Street in Argyle.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 7:42 a.m. on Copeland Road, Town of Shullsburg.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 8:41 a.m. on County W, Town of White Oak Springs.

●  A deputy responded to provide traffic control at 9:08 a.m. on County W, Town of New Diggings.

●  A deputy responded for a utility problem at 1:29 p.m. on County F, Town of Fayette.

●  A deputy assisted Darlington police with a lift assist at 6:33 p.m. on Fayette Road in Darlington.

●  Disorderly conduct was reported at 7:42 p.m. on North Van Buren Street in Benton. Cuba City police assisted.
