Albany Police

ALBANY — Donald Day Jr., 65, Brodhead, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way at a stop sign Wednesday, July 10.

On Saturday, July 13:

●  Jeanna M. Andree, 47, Oregon, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while under the influence of alcohol. She was also cited with operating with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration, operating left of the centerline, operating a motor vehicle without insurance and driving without carrying license.

●  Rodney Cushman, 54, Oregon, was cited for disorderly conduct.

On Sunday, July 14:

●  Matthew R. Fisher, 21, Brodhead, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while under the influence of alcohol. He was also cited for operating with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration, operating a vehicle without registration lamps and improper display of vehicle plates.

●  Justina Krasauskaite, 25, Madison, was cited for urinating in public.

●  Katelin M. Carson, 27, Madison, was cited for urinating in public.

●  Justin A. Banzhaf, 26, Fitchburg, was cited for urinating in public.

●  Zachary A. Corgiat, 22, Madison, was cited for non-registration of an auto, failure to display license plates and failure to notify DMV of an address change.

●  Jesus P. Vasquez Jr., 27, Beloit, was arrested on a second-offense charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant as well as charges of possessing THC (marijuana) and drug paraphernalia. He was also cited for failure to display license plates, driving with a revoked license and failure to install an ignition interlock device.


Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD — For the week of July 7-13, police performed 75 security checks, 29 citizen assists, 17 assists of other agencies, 13 vehicle registrations and 12 follow-ups to incidents; responded to 34 calls for service, 11 EMS calls, two fire calls and 13 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls; and made seven traffic stops. One detox transport and no mental health transports were reported.

On Sunday, July 7:

●  A Beloit woman, 41, was arrested on a fourth-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at 4:34 a.m. in the 800 block of 10th Street. She was also cited for having open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.

●  A Brodhead man, 17, was cited for failure to notify police of an accident at 11:24 a.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue, following a traffic crash.

On Monday, July 8:

●  Disorderly conduct involving people having a disagreement was reported at 7:06 p.m. in the 300 block of East 9th Avenue. Police issued a warning.

On Tuesday, July 9:

●  Trespassing was reported at 1:11 a.m. in the E200 block of 23rd Street. Police issued a warning.

●  A Brodhead man, 37, was cited for issuing worthless checks at 12:04 p.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Wednesday, July 10:

●  A Brodhead man, 17, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way while making a left turn and failure to wear a seatbelt at 10:20 a.m. in the 900 block of 1st Center Avenue, following a traffic crash.

On Thursday, July 11:

●  A parking complaint of vehicles blocking a business was reported at 7 p.m. in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police made contact, and the matter was resolved.

●  A domestic problem was reported at 9 p.m. in the 1000 block of 19th Street. The subjects were involved in a verbal disagreement. Police made contact, and the matter was resolved.

●  A person refusing to leave a business was reported at 9:27 p.m. in the 1100 block of West 2nd Avenue. The person left prior to police arrival.

On Friday, July 12:

●  A vehicle being driven recklessly was reported at 7:10 p.m. in the 1600 block of 20th Street. Police issued a warning.

On Saturday, July 13:

●  A Madison man, 67, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 12:12 a.m. in the 100 block of 23rd Street.

●  A traffic crash was reported at 11:22 a.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue. No citations were issued.

●  A dog at large was reported at 4:33 p.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police warned the dog owner.

●  A Freeport woman, 42, was cited for speeding at 4:56 p.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street.

●  A Monroe woman, 65, was cited for speeding at 5:28 p.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street.

●  A dog at large was reported at 5:54 p.m. in the 1600 block of 20th Street. Police warned the dog owner.

●  Damage to property was reported at 5:41 p.m. in the 1600 block of West 2nd Avenue. Two vehicles had been keyed. The matter remained under investigation.


Darlington Police

DARLINGTON — Shayne M. Riley, 31, Boscobel, was cited for having open intoxicants on the street on Wednesday, July 3, following an investigation into a May 17 altercation at the Sieg Field basketball court. Riley was also referred to the Lafayette County District Attorney’s Office for disorderly conduct.

●  Michael Frechette, 18, Darlington, was cited for display of power at 11:05 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, following a traffic stop on Keep Street.

●  Dennis O. Said, 73, Argyle, was cited for unsafe backing and driving without a valid license at about 7:45 p.m. Saturday, July 6, following a traffic crash on Main Street.

●  Alberto Zavaleta-Gonzalez, 36, Darlington was arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated (first offense) and without a valid license (second offense) at about 2:45 a.m. Sunday, July 7, following a traffic stop on Wells Street.

●  Scott Wedig, 44, Argyle, was cited for a second-offense property maintenance violation on Tuesday, July 9, following a complaint by the Building and Zoning Inspector for a property on East Street.


Monroe Police

MONROE — On Sunday, July 14:

●  Officers were called to the 1700 block of 16th Street at 2:01 a.m. for a report of a woman walking around yelling. Police located and identified the woman as Tonya Tiffany Kinney, 41, Monroe. She was found to be intoxicated and yelling. She was arrested and jailed on a charge of disorderly conduct.

●  Dennis E. Beutel, 48, Monroe, was arrested at 6:44 p.m. in the 1300 block of 17th Street on a Wisconsin Community Corrections warrant for violating his conditions of probation. He was jailed.

●  A domestic altercation involving a knife was reported at a residence in the 900 block of 15th Avenue at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, July 13. As a result, officers arrested Marisa R. Reyes, 25, Monroe, on charges of disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia and Jacqueline A. Reyes, 22, Monroe, on a charge of disorderly conduct. Both were booked and then released pending court.

●  Dustin N. Deyo, 27, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin’s domestic abuse laws after officers responded to a report of an out-of-control man at a residence in the 400 block of 26th Avenue at 7:36 p.m. Tuesday, July 16. He was jailed pending court.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — On Saturday, July 13:

●  Robert H. Duncanson, 51, Mount Horeb, was arrested on a second-offense charge of operating while under the influence of alcohol after deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding at 12:49 a.m. in the N3600 block of Wis. 69, Town of Monroe. He was also cited for speeding.

●  Deputies stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation at 2 a.m. in the W2000 block of Wis. 11, Town of Spring Grove. The driver, Danny E. Hayes, 52, Beloit, was cited for driving without a valid license (third offense). A passenger, Mark E. Roberts, 57, was arrested on a warrant issued through Winnebago County, Illinois. He was also arrested on a charge of obstructing an officer. He was jailed pending an initial court appearance and extradition to Illinois.

●  Deputies and Albany police responded for a report of a disturbance at 7:03 p.m. in the N4600 block of County E, Town of Albany. Upon arrival, deputies determined several people involved in the altercation had left the scene. They were later located in Brodhead by Brodhead police and one, Alandos C. Jenkins, 26, Janesville, was arrested on a warrant issued through Rock County. He was turned over to the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Friday, July 5:

●  Denise F. Curtis, 41, Orfordville, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 11:13 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

On Saturday, July 6:

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 1:02 a.m. on New Line Road, Town of Kendall.

●  A deputy responded to assist Darlington police with an alarm at 8:12 a.m. on Main Street in Darlington.

●  Sydney M. Love, 22, Blanchardville, was cited for failure to keep a vehicle under control after a deputy responded at 9:45 a.m. for a vehicle in the ditch.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 11:22 a.m. on West Mound View Avenue in Belmont. The Belmont Fire Department assisted.

●  Sylvia B. Hoffman, 30, Colorado Springs, Colorado, was cited for speeding at 2:17 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

●  A scam was reported at 3:12 p.m. on Swanson Road, Town of Wayne.

●  Theft was reported at 4:35 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle.

●  Patrick W. Powers, 64, Dubuque, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 6:18 p.m. on Wis. 126, Town of Elk Grove.

●  A deputy responded to unlock a vehicle at 8:13 p.m. on North Judgement Street in Shullsburg.

●  A disabled vehicle was reported at 9:18 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 10:17 p.m. on County N, Town of Argyle.

●  Spencer D. Volden, 28, Monroe, was cited for speeding at 11:41 p.m. on Lange Road, Town of Darlington.

●  Chase M. Bushaw, 23, Dubuque, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 10:57 a.m. on County I, Town of New Diggings.

●  Heidi L. McMullen, 39, Shullsburg, was arrested on a warrant at 1:59 a.m. on Garden Street, Town of New Diggings. She was transported to the jail and later released on a cash bond.

●  An animal problem was reported at 9:24 a.m. on Spring Brook Road, Town of Wayne.

●  A deputy responded to assist Monroe police at 10:12 a.m. on Old Q Road, Town of Argyle.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 1:19 p.m. on Lake Joy Lane, Town of Belmont.

●  Duane Schueller, 66, Dubuque, Iowa, was cited for allowing open intoxicants in a motor vehicle at 7:07 p.m. at the entry gate to the Lafayette County Fairgrounds on Louisa Street/Wis. 81 East in Darlington. His passenger Margie Schueller, 65, Dubuque, was cited for having open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.

●  A person making threats to injure was reported at 8:24 p.m. on Mine Road, Town of Elk Grove.

●  An erratic driver was reported at 8:55 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour. Darlington police assisted on scene.

●  Douglas W. M. Champion, 26, Shullsburg, was cited for driving with a revoked license and no vehicle insurance at 11:17 p.m. on County Shop Road, Town of Darlington.

On Saturday, July 13:

●  Cedric D. Moore, 35, Milwaukee, was arrested for a probation and parole violation after a deputy assisted Belmont police with a traffic stop at 2:39 a.m. on U.S. 151. Moore was jailed.

●  Roger T. Gordon, 53, Darlington, was cited for speeding at 4:17 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 5:43 a.m. on West Mound Road, Town of Belmont.

●  A deputy responded to assist Darlington police with a disorderly conduct complaint at 11:13 a.m. on Wis. 23 in Darlington.

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 4:44 p.m. on County F, Town of Darlington.

●  John P. Broge, 55, Freeport, was cited for speeding and open intoxicants in a motor vehicle at 5:25 p.m. on County P, Town of Gratiot. His passenger, Travis J. Broge, 33, Winslow, was also cited for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.

●  Deputies responded to check welfare at 8:31 p.m. on Bethel Grove Road, Town of Belmont.

●  Richard D. Nigh, 41, Benton, was cited for driving without a valid license and without proof of vehicle insurance at 8:25 p.m. on County W in Gratiot.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 8:31 p.m. on Phillip Lane, Town of Benton. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office assisted.

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 9:46 p.m. on East Water Street in Shullsburg.

●  Mario R. Martinez-Perea, 21, Belmont, was cited for driving without a valid license and failure to stop at a stop sign at 10:08 p.m. on East Wisconsin Avenue in Belmont.

●  Mateo Marroquin, 48, Shullsburg, was cited for driving without a valid license and without proof of vehicle insurance after a deputy responded to a complaint of an erratic driver at 11:03 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove.

●  A deputy responded to assist a citizen at 11:17 p.m. on Fayette Road, Town of Darlington. Darlington police assisted on scene.

●  A deputy responded to assist with unlocking a vehicle at 11:24 p.m. on East Louisa Street, Town of Darlington. Darlington police assisted on scene.
