Monticello Police

MONTICELLO — On July 1:

●  Police discovered an unsecured building within the village at 8:36 p.m. The building was checked and everything was found to be OK. The building was secured.

On July 2:

●  An animal complaint was reported at 6:34 a.m. in the 200 block of Urban Road. The matter was resolved.

●  A parking complaint was reported at 9:19 a.m. in the area of Staedtler Avenue and North Main Street. The vehicle was removed.

●  Ana L. Quintero Chavarria, 23, Monticello, was cited for driving without a valid license at 11:48 a.m. on Lake Avenue at North Main Street.

●  Channing W. Wenger, 17, Monticello, was cited for a seatbelt violation at 3:33 p.m. on East Coates Avenue at North Main Street.

●  Miranda Ocampo, 27, Fitchburg, was cited for no vehicle liability insurance at 4:04 p.m. on Wis. 69 at West Coates Avenue.

●  Justin S. Helton, 26, Browntown, was cited for a seatbelt violation at 5:01 p.m. on East Coates Avenue at North Main Street.

●  Ashley J. Busser, 31, Monticello, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 6:47 p.m. on East Coates Avenue at North Main Street.

On July 3:

●  A two-vehicle crash with no injuries was reported at 10:44 a.m. on Lake Avenue (County F) at Main Street (County C). As a result, Samantha M. Hill, 17, Albany, was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign.

●  Jacob T. Trumpy-Stumlin, 17, Monticello, was cited for a seatbelt violation and driving with a suspended license at 3:18 p.m. on North Main Street at Lake Avenue.

●  Dylan J. Palmer, 27, Monroe, was cited for a seatbelt violation at 3:47 p.m. on Wis. 69 at West Coates Avenue.

●  Brent K. Neblock, 53, Beloit, was cited for no proof of vehicle insurance after being stopped for a traffic infraction at 4:11 p.m. on Wis. 69 at West Coates Avenue.

●  Jeffrey P. Ace, 46, Monticello, was cited for a seatbelt violation at 4:34 p.m. on Wis. 69 at West Coates Avenue.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — On July 2:

●  Chad E. Pehl, 46, Fort Atkinson, was arrested at 1:51 p.m. at the Green County Probation and Parole Office in Monroe on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections probation hold. He was jailed.

●  David C. Brownson, 63, Browntown, was cited for disorderly conduct after deputies responded at 5:49 p.m. to a residence in the 300 block of South Center Street in Browntown for a report of a disturbance.


Albany Police 

ALBANY — Dylan A. Way, 25, Madison, was arrested June 27 on charges of operating while intoxicated and with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration. He was also cited for no vehicle insurance, possession of open intoxicants, possession of less than 25 grams of THC and failure to display license plates.

●  Maxwell H. Sim, 27, Palatine, Illinois, was cited June 27 for urinating in public places.

●  Cited June 28 for outside consumption of alcohol were Casey A. Culver, 24, Roscoe, Illinois; Ryan Bowman, 42, Middleton; Zachary J. Noll, 21, Peoria, Illinois; Matthew R. Thompson, 25, Monroe; and Reid N. Carlson, 20, Belvidere, Illinois. Carlson was also cited for underage drinking.

●  Joshua E. Lange, 46, Freeport, was cited for littering June 28 after police observed him throw a beer can over the bridge into the Sugar River.

●  Cited July 3 for outside consumption of alcohol were George W. Orth, 30, Belvidere, Illinois, and Joseph J. Miller, 26, Prairie du Sac.

●  Lucas S. Nowak, 23, Montfort, was cited July 4 for urinating in public places.

●  Tania Bradley, 36, Whitewater, was arrested July 4 on a felony fourth-offense charge of operating while intoxicated as well as charges of operating while revoked and failure to install an ignition interlock device.

●  Cited July 5 for outside consumption of alcohol were Daniel Cheval, 31, Hanover Park, Illinois; David Cheval, 62, Arlington Heights, Illinois; and Nicolas Rodriguez, 22, Sun Prairie. Rodriguez was also cited for urinating in public places.


Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD — For the week of June 28-July 4, police performed 54 security checks, 35 citizen assists, 15 assists of other agencies, 20 follow-ups to incidents, 17 vehicle registrations and six traffic stops; responded to 53 calls for service and reported seven EMS calls, 15 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls and three fire calls. No mental health or detox transports were reported.

On June 28:

●  A Brodhead man, 24, was cited for allowing a dog to roam at large at 12:24 a.m. in the 500 block of West 3rd Avenue.

●  A hit-and-run crash was reported at 7:09 a.m. in the 1200 block of West 3rd Avenue.

●  A gas drive-off was reported at 2:26 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

●  An Evansville man, 41, was cited for a violation of load limits at 6:26 p.m. in the 1000 block of 4th Street.

On June 29:

●  Disorderly conduct involving road rage between two people was reported at 3:11 p.m. in the 1000 block of West Exchange Street. Neither party wished to pursue charges. Police issued warnings.

On July 1:

●  A dog at large was reported at 10:04 a.m. in the 700 block of East 3rd Avenue. The owner was warned.

●  A vehicle in violation of the city’s 48-hour parking and junk vehicle ordinances was reported at 6:22 p.m. in the 1100 block of West 5th Avenue. Police issued a warning.

●  A Monroe woman, 42, was cited for driving with a suspended license and no proof of vehicle insurance at 8:22 p.m. in the 1800 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On July 2:

●  A person urinating on another person’s property was reported at 2:15 p.m. in the 1400 block of East 4th Avenue. Police issued a warning.

●  An Albany man, 19, was cited for no proof of vehicle insurance at 3:39 p.m. in the 400 block of 1st Center Avenue.

●  A vehicle in violation of the city’s 48-hour parking and junk vehicle ordinances was reported at 7:44 p.m. in the 1300 block of East 3rd Avenue. Police issued a warning.

●  A Brodhead man, 24, was cited for allowing a dog to roam at large at 8:13 p.m. in the 600 block of 6th Street.

On July 3:

●  Two freezers outside with the doors still attached were reported at 3:43 a.m. in the 400 block of 8th Street.

●  A Lake Geneva man, 65, was cited for speeding at 9:22 a.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street.

●  A dog that had been tied up outside for over four hours was reported at 11:51 p.m. in the 700 block of 17th Street. The dog was taken to the Green County Humane Society.

On July 4:

●  A Janesville man, 82, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 2:30 p.m. in the 100 block of East 9th Avenue.

●  A gas drive-off was reported at 4:01 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

●  A person riding a skateboard on sidewalks downtown was reported at 10:38 p.m. in the 800 block of East Exchange Street. Police issued a warning.
