Monroe Police

MONROE — On Saturday, Feb. 2:

●  Daniel J. Kundert, 28, Monroe, was arrested on a second-offense charge of operating while intoxicated after police responded to a one-vehicle accident at 10:27 p.m. in the 900 block of 21st Street. The vehicle had collided with a snowbank. Kundert was found at the crash scene behind the wheel of the vehicle, which was still running and in gear. He was later released to a responsible person pending court.


Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD — For the week of Jan. 27-Feb. 2, police performed 18 security checks, 43 citizen assists, 18 assists of other agencies, nine vehicle registrations and 12 follow-ups to incidents; responded to 51 calls for service, nine EMS calls, two fire calls and 10 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls; and made no traffic stops. There was one detox transport and no mental health transports.

On Sunday, Jan. 27:

●  A traffic crash was reported at 3:10 a.m. in the 100 block of 23rd Street. No citations were issued.

●  A Brodhead man, 38, was cited for disorderly conduct with a motor vehicle at 1:56 p.m. in the 1000 block of West 3rd Avenue.

●  A traffic complaint of a vehicle being driven too fast for conditions was reported at 3:44 p.m. in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue. The driver was warned.

●  Vandalism involving damage to a mirror was reported at 7:13 p.m. in the 700 block of 17th Street.

On Monday, Jan. 28:

●  Harassment was reported at 9:20 p.m. in the 1200 block of West 3rd Avenue.

●  A code violation of uncleared sidewalks was reported at 12:43 p.m. in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue. A warning was issued.

●  A parking complaint was reported at 3:15 p.m. in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue. A citation had already been issued.

●  A code violation of an uncleared sidewalk was reported at 4:36 p.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue.

●  Six citations were issued for violations of the winter parking ordinance.

On Tuesday, Jan. 29:

●  A parking violation involving a vehicle parked more than 10 feet away from the curb was reported at 2:26 a.m. in the 700 block of Green Street. The owner was warned.

●  A traffic crash involving one vehicle backing into another was reported at 8:18 a.m. in the 100 block of East 4th Avenue. The driver was warned for unsafe backing.

●  A Brodhead boy, 16, was cited for failure to stop for a school bus at 4:28 p.m. in the 100 block of Juniper Street.

On Thursday, Jan. 31:

●  A Brodhead man, 19, was cited for not having reasonably clean motor vehicle windows at 6:41 a.m. in the 700 block of 1st Center Avenue following a report of a traffic crash. He was also cited for failure to wear a seatbelt.

●  A traffic crash was reported at 8:37 p.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue, however it was determined to be non-reportable and no citations were issued.

On Friday, Feb. 1:

●  A Belleville woman, 18, was cited for driving with a revoked license at 1:54 a.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue.

●  A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 8:16 a.m. in the 1200 block of West 2nd Avenue. The vehicle was removed without incident.

●  A Monroe girl, 16, was cited for driving too fast for conditions at 2:53 p.m. in the 2300 block of East 3rd Avenue, following a traffic crash.

On Saturday, Feb. 2:

●  A traffic complaint of someone revving an engine and spinning tires on a vehicle was reported at 12:09 a.m. in the 900 block of West 2nd Avenue. The person was warned for disorderly conduct with a motor vehicle.

●  A traffic hazard of a U-Haul truck stuck in traffic was reported at 7:36 p.m. in the 1700 block of 1st Center Avenue. The truck was towed and the roadway cleared.


Darlington Police 

DARLINGTON — On Saturday, Feb. 2:

●  Travis L. Hams, 31, Cuba City, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 2:37 a.m. on Main Street.

●  Bobby O. Parker Jr., 20, Darlington, was cited for transporting intoxicants in a motor vehicle as an underage person at about 3:40 a.m. on Wis. 81.

●  Claudia L. Hernandez, 19, Darlington, was arrested on a Lafayette County warrant at about 9:30 p.m. at a business on Main Street. She posted bond and was released.

On Sunday, Feb. 3:

●  Bobby O. Parker Sr., 47, Darlington, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at about 12:50 a.m. on Louisa Street. He was also cited for possession of marijuana.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — On Friday, Feb. 1:

●  Shane M. Segner, 40, Monroe, was arrested on a domestic abuse-related charge of disorderly conduct after deputies responded for a welfare check at 5:16 a.m. at a residence in the N3600 block of Wis. 81, Town of Monroe. He was transported to the jail and later released after bond was posted.

●  Deputies responded at 12:33 p.m. to the Green County Probation and Parole Office in Monroe and arrested Eric C. Wade, 29, Belleville, on a probation hold placed on him by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. He was jailed.

●  Deputies located an abandoned vehicle at about 6:45 p.m. in the W4000 block of Tunnel Road, Town of Exeter, and observed drug paraphernalia in plain view inside the vehicle. While on scene, several people approached the vehicle on foot. An investigation resulted in Logan R. Marshall, 20, Evansville, being cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and unauthorized display of vehicle registration.

On Sunday, Feb. 3:

●  Kim A. Christen, 64, Blanchardville, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while under the influence of alcohol after deputies located a vehicle in the ditch at 1:22 p.m. in the N6500 block of County J, Town of Adams. She was released pending court.

On Tuesday, Feb. 5: 

● Kenneth M. Moore, 44, Monroe, was taken into custody on a warrant at 12:59 p.m. He was held at the Green County Jail pending court.

On Wednesday, Feb. 6:

●  Otis I. Dawson Jr., 33, Freeport, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while under the influence of an intoxicant (drug) at the intersection of Wis. 69 and Franklin Road, Town of Clarno, at 5:15 p.m. He was also cited for an expired vehicle registration and an improper vehicle registration. He was later released pending court.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Thursday, Jan. 31:

●  A deputy responded for a welfare check at 12:20 a.m. on Ferndale Road, Town of Willow Springs.

●  A deputy responded for a welfare check at 6:51 a.m. on Monroe Street in Argyle.

●  A deputy responded to keep the peace at 3:54 p.m. on County W, Town of Monticello.

●  An abandoned vehicle was reported at 4:48 p.m. on County G, Town of Willow Springs.

●  Cole G. Golmer, 21, Darlington, was arrested on a Lafayette County warrant at 7:20 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont. He was jailed.

●  Wayne A. Mork, 43, Darlington, was arrested on a probation and parole warrant at 7:26 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington. He was jailed.

●  Deputies responded for a welfare check at 8:03 p.m. on County F, Town of Willow Springs.

●  Jessica R. Hoey, 27, Darlington, was arrested on charges of bail jumping and receiving stolen property and Kory J. Denman, 40, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of bail jumping at 10:01 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs. They were jailed.

On Friday, Feb. 1:

●  A deputy responded to assist a citizen at 2:22 a.m. on Main Street in Blanchardville. The Blanchardville Fire Department assisted on scene.

●  A deputy responded to unlock a vehicle at 5:20 a.m. on County K, Town of Darlington.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 6:27 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot.

●  A deputy responded to provide traffic control at 11:35 a.m. on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg.

●  An injured deer was reported at 11:44 a.m. on Kainz Road, Town of Blanchard.

●  A theft was reported at 1:10 p.m. on East Truth Street in Shullsburg.

●  Melissa M. Wiegel, 29, Monroe, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 7:35 p.m. on County H, Town of Elk Grove.

●  A deputy responded to assist a motorist at 12:49 a.m. on County W, Town of White Oak Springs.

●  Justin M. Schaefer, 24, Platteville, was cited for speeding at 6:09 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

●  Theft was reported at 12:42 p.m. on School Street in Gratiot.

●  Lucas J. Tigges, 39, East Dubuque, Illinois, was arrested on a second-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at 2:25 p.m. on County O, Town of White Oak Springs. He was booked at the jail and later released to a responsible party.

●  A deputy responded to assist Shullsburg police with a welfare check at 4:35 p.m. on Miner Way in Shullsburg.

●  A deputy came across a disabled vehicle at 4:36 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

●  A deputy responded for a welfare check at 6:02 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington. Darlington police assisted on scene.

●  Theft was reported at 6:45 p.m. on South Van Buren Street in Benton.

●  A deputy responded for a welfare check at 9:39 p.m. on Heller Court in Shullsburg.

●  A deputy assisted with unlocking a vehicle at 10:30 p.m. on South Park Street in Belmont.

On Tuesday, Feb. 5:

●  Aleksei A. Larkin, Seattle, was cited for speeding at 2:09 a.m. on County W, Town of White Oak Springs.

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 8:52 a.m. on Mineral Road, Town of Darlington.

●  A suspicious vehicle was reported at 3:54 p.m. on County W, Town of Benton.

●  A complaint of dogs running at large was reported at 7:50 p.m. on Hill Street, Town of Darlington. Darlington police assisted on scene.

●  Daniel J. Thorp, 31, Monroe, was cited for speeding at 8 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Gratiot.

●  Rodimiro Gutierrez-Santacruz, 28, Darlington, was cited for possession of THC and arrested on a charge of driving with a revoked license at 8:37 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington. He was booked at the jail and then released.
