Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Ross C. Garland, 36, Beloit, was cited for speeding and driving without a valid license (second offense) in the W2900 block of Wis. 92, Town of Exeter, at 1:47 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29.


Monroe Police

MONROE — Maquita L. Brown, 31, Monroe, was arrested in the 1600 block of 4th Avenue West at 7:22 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, on a warrant issued by the Beloit Police Department for driving with a suspended license. She posted the required bond and was released.

●  Juan Cabrera-Guerra, 48, Monroe, was arrested on a third-offense charge of operating while intoxicated after being stopped for a traffic violation in the 600 block of 16th Avenue at 1:23 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26. He was also cited for driving with a revoked license and no vehicle insurance. He was jailed until a responsible person could take responsibility for him or the required time per law had passed.


Albany Police

ALBANY — On Sunday, Jan. 20:

●  Alexis P. Oller, 22, Orfordville, was cited for disorderly conduct.

●  Austin J. Ferguson, 23, Brodhead, was cited for disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property, outside consumption of alcohol and obstructing an officer.

On Friday, Jan. 25:

●  Two juveniles were cited for truancy.

●  Timothy J. Disch, 47, Albany, was cited for non-registration of an auto.

On Sunday, Jan. 27:

●  Shawn J. Tracy, 31, Monroe, was cited for driving with a suspended license, driving with a revoked or suspended registration and no vehicle insurance.

●  Kimberly A. Neuenschwander, 43, Albany, was cited for driving with a suspended license and no vehicle insurance.


Darlington Police

DARLINGTON — Kyle E. Gille, 23, Darlington, is being referred to the Lafayette County District Attorney’s Office for charges of burglary, theft and criminal damage to property as the result of an investigation into an Aug. 24 burglary of the restroom and shower facility at Pecatonica River Trails Campground. Evidence collected at the scene was tested at the Wisconsin State Crime Lab, and Gille’s DNA was recovered from one of the items collected at the scene. Gille is currently in prison at Dodge Correctional on an unrelated conviction.

Four people were arrested following a traffic stop on West River Street at about 4 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24:

●  Brandon A. Loken, 29, Platteville, was charged with maintaining a drug-trafficking place (the vehicle) and possessing less than 50 grams of amphetamines. A probation and parole hold was placed on him, and he was jailed.

●  Bradley C. Burgess, 21, Platteville, was charged with possessing drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed knife and two counts of resisting or obstructing an officer. He also had a felony warrant issued through the Department of Corrections. He was jailed.

●  Melissa A. Carroll, 34, Lancaster, was charged with possessing methamphetamine paraphernalia, possessing THC with intent to deliver, possessing drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed knife. She also had a felony warrant issued through the Department of Corrections. She was jailed.

●  Ashley A. Muehl, 24, Platteville, was referred for charges of resisting or obstructing an officer.

On Friday, Jan. 25:

●  Diane Smith-Hole, 63, Darlington, was cited for a property maintenance violation following a complaint by the city building inspector on Division Street.

●  Michael Kirschbaum, 32, Fennimore, was cited for issuing worthless checks at a business on Wis. 23.

On Saturday, Jan. 26:

●  Timothy Fitzsimons, 28, Darlington, was cited for a health nuisance violation following a complaint about failure to remove snow from a sidewalk on East Louisa Street.

●  Fernando Amaya-Garcia, 28, Darlington, was cited for junk vehicles following a complaint about inoperable vehicles at a Galena Street residence.

DARLINGTON — On Jan. 17:

●  Renee L. Spurley, 34, Beetown, was arrested at 5:32 p.m. in Grant County on a Lafayette County warrant and for a probation and parole violation. She was transported to the Lafayette County Jail.

●  Bradyn A. Mesch, 17, Shullsburg, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance at 8:27 p.m. on County W, Town of White Oak Springs.

●  Curtis J. Edler, 36, Lena, was cited for speeding at 9:34 p.m. on County W, Town of Monticello.
