MONROE — On Sunday, July 28:
● Douglas B. Scace, 48, Browntown, was arrested on a charge of physical abuse of a child at 4:04 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, in the 800 block of 19th Street, following an investigation by police and Green County Human Services into a report earlier that afternoon that Scace struck a 15-year-old with an electrical cord, leaving a mark. Scace told police he was disciplining the teen for falling asleep on the floor. Scace was booked and released pending court.
● Samone N. Miller, 29, Madison, was arrested at the Monroe Police Department at 8:42 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, on a warrant issued through the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department for failure to appear in court on a previous charge of driving with a revoked license. She was jailed.
● Eric R. Johnson, 42, Monroe, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop at 9th Street and 13th Avenue at 1:15 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 4. He was booked and released to a responsible person pending court.
On Monday, Aug. 5:
● Jeremy S. Eberle, 30, Monroe, was arrested on domestic abuse-related charges of strangulation, false imprisonment, battery and disorderly conduct at 1:19 a.m., following an investigation into domestic disturbances over a two-day period at a residence in the 1000 block of 24th Street, during which a 27-year-old woman was restrained and sustained injuries. Eberle was jailed pending court.
● Clayton A. Ostby, 56, Monroe, was arrested at 9 p.m. at a residence in the 500 block of West 21st Street on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant issued by the Probation and Parole Division for a probation violation. He was jailed pending court.
On Wednesday, Aug. 7:
● Officers responded at 6:22 p.m. to check the welfare of a man possibly in distress in the 2600 block of 10th Street. The man was found to be extremely intoxicated. During a medical check at Monroe Clinic, the man, identified as Peter J. Bonlie, 63, Monroe, created a physical disturbance in the ER and was arrested. He was jailed on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting officers, pending court.
Green County Sheriff
MONROE — Matthew W. Schmid, 39, Albany, was arrested and jailed on a probation warrant after deputies and Green County EMS responded to a report of a drug overdose in a bathroom at the Green County Justice Center in Monroe at 1:01 p.m. Tuesday, July 30. He was revived with two doses of Narcan.
On Friday, Aug. 2:
● Steven M. K. Futch, 26, Monroe, was arrested at the Green County Probation and Parole Office in Monroe at 3:32 p.m., after the Wisconsin Department of Corrections placed a probation hold on him. He was jailed.
● Mark W. Vinje, 54, Monticello, was arrested on charges of battery, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property, all domestic abuse related, after deputies responded at 11:37 p.m. to the W6000 block of Ron Hill Lane, Town of Washington, for a report of a physical altercation. He was jailed pending court. New Glarus police assisted with the investigation.
On Sunday, August 4:
● Dalton B. Gallagher, 19, Beloit, was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor bail jumping and cited for violating Absolute Sobriety, speeding and driving without a valid license (second offense within three years) after deputies stopped him at 2:13 a.m. in the W400 block of Wis. 81, Town of Spring Grove. He was jailed pending court or posting of bond.
● Tracy L. Hatcher, 51, Brodhead, was arrested on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant at 10:20 a.m. at a residence in the W100 block of Halfway Tree Road, Town of Spring Grove. She was jailed.
● Donald G. Bornemeier, 39, Monroe, was arrested on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant at 3:18 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, in the N2300 block of Bloom Lane, Town of Monroe. He was jailed. Monroe police assisted deputies in the arrest.
Albany Police
ALBANY — On Saturday, Aug. 3:
● Lynn M. Wall, 55, Brooklyn, was cited for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
● A juvenile from Franklin was cited for underage drinking.
● Dylan A. Ellison, 20, Franklin, was cited for underage drinking.
● Justin R. Reisdorf, 27, Waunakee, was arrested on a second-offense charge of operating while under the influence and cited for non-registration of an auto.
● Lloyd S. Groth, 46, Cherry Valley, Illinois, was arrested on a charge of operating while under the influence and operating left of the center line.
● Jennifer B. Webster, 36, Albany, was cited for driving with a suspended license.
On Sunday, Aug. 4:
● Ronald D. Iverson, 31, Lake Mills, was cited for non-registration of an auto and driving with a suspended license.
● Christopher C. Rayford, 20, Fitchburg, was cited for driving with a suspended license.
● A juvenile from Columbus was cited for urinating in public.
Brodhead Police
BRODHEAD — For the week of July 28-Aug. 3, police performed 62 security checks, 44 citizen assists, 12 assists of other agencies, 13 vehicle registrations and six follow-ups to incidents; responded to 36 calls for service, eight EMS calls, one fire call and six 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls; and made 13 traffic stops. No detox or mental health transports were reported.
On Sunday, July 28:
● A vehicle parked left of center facing traffic was reported at 3:17 a.m. in the 800 block of 14th Street. A warning was issued.
● Two people having a disagreement was reported at 6:47 a.m. in the 700 block of West 2nd Avenue. Police made contact, and the matter was resolved.
● A crash involving two vehicles colliding in a parking lot was reported at 12:27 p.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue. No citations were issued.
On Monday, July 29:
● A Brodhead woman, 33, was cited for issuing worthless checks at 11:09 a.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue.
On Tuesday, July 30:
● A Monroe man, 29, was arrested on two Rock County warrants at 12:38 p.m. in the 700 block of 21st Street.
● A Brodhead woman, 34, was cited for issuing worthless checks at 3:41 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue.
● A car that went over the guard in the car wash and caused damage was reported at 6:23 p.m. in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue. As this was on private property, no citations were issued.
● A vehicle in violation of the city’s Junk Vehicle ordinance was reported at 6:56 p.m. in the 400 block of East 5th Avenue. A warning was issued.
On Thursday, Aug. 1:
● A Janesville woman, 48, was cited for speeding at 2:59 p.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street.
● A dog bite was reported at 3:21 p.m. in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue. The matter was referred to the Green County Health Department.
● Possible shoplifting was reported at 3:31 p.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police made contact with the alleged offenders and warned them.
● A vehicle partially parked in the roadway was reported at 5:40 p.m. in the 500 block of 15th Street. Police made contact, and the vehicle was moved.
● A possibly sick raccoon was reported at 6:35 p.m. in the 700 block of McEwen Street. Upon police arrival, the raccoon had returned to a neighboring farm field.
On Friday, Aug. 2:
● A domestic problem of one person yelling at another was reported at 12:57 p.m. in the 1200 block of East 6th Avenue. Police made contact, and the matter was resolved.
● A gas drive-off was reported at 5:26 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. It was determined this was an oversight. The person returned to pay for the gas.
On Saturday, Aug. 3:
● An Albany man, 35, was arrested for a restraining order violation at 9:55 a.m. in the 600 block of 10th Street.

DARLINGTON — Chad Fenner, 45, Prairie Du Sac, was cited for noxious weeds at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, following a complaint of an unmaintained lawn at a residence on Galena Street.
● Mario Mayahua-Tlehuactle, 28, Darlington, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at 11:29 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, following a traffic stop on Ravine Street. He was also cited for operating without a valid license (second offense) and operating left of the center line.

● Jaden M. Kelley, 20, Milwaukee, was cited for speeding and no vehicle insurance at 8:11 p.m. on County W, Town of White Oak Springs.
● An animal bite was reported at 10:25 p.m. on County I, Town of White Oak Springs.
● A deputy assisted Darlington police with an ATV violation at 10:49 p.m. on Washington Street in Darlington.

● Amos J. Breen, 36, Darlington, was arrested on a probation violation at 8:29 a.m. and transported to the jail.
