Brodhead Police
BRODHEAD — For the week of April 11 to April 17, police performed 12 security checks, 24 citizen assists, three assists of other agencies, 25 follow-ups to incidents, 24 vehicle registration and two traffic stops; responded to 31 calls for service and reported eight EMS calls, 12 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls and four fire calls. No detox or mental health transports were reported.
● Physical and verbal domestic abuse was reported at 6:02 a.m. April 11 at a residential building in the 1000 block of 19th Street. The offender left prior to police arrival. Green County Sheriff’s Office assisted in locating offender and placing him under arrest. Brodhead police conducted investigation. Charges of strangulation, battery, three counts of damage to property and two counts of disorderly conduct are being referred to the Green County District Attorney’s Office.
● Loud music was reported at 5:41 a.m. April 12 in the 700 block of East 4th Avenue. A warning was issued.
On April 13:
● A Menomonee Falls man, 20, was cited for speeding at 9:59 a.m. in the 1200 block of East 9th Avenue.
● A domestic problem was reported at 11:07 p.m. in the 500 block of 11th Street. Resources were given to subject.
● A gas drive-off was reported at 2:11 p.m. April 14 in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue. This remains under investigation.
On April 15:
● Fraud was reported at 2:26 p.m. in the 2200 block of West 4th Avenue.
● A Janesville woman, 52, was cited for speeding at 5:31 p.m. in the 600 block of East 9th Avenue.
● Disorderly conduct was reported at 8:19 p.m. in the 300 block of 13th Street. This remains under investigation.
On April 16:
● A damaged utility box was reported at 9:31 p.m. in the 800 block of East Exchange Street. Police contacted utility company.
● An Albany man, 18, was cited for disorderly conduct with a vehicle at 9:54 p.m. in the 800 block of 1st Center Avenue.
● An Edgerton woman, 43, was arrested/cited for operating while intoxicated, possession of open intoxicants, failure to stop at stop sign, no proof of vehicle insurance and bail jumping at 11:34 p.m. in the 900 block of 4th Street.
On April 17:
● A drug/narcotic violation was reported at 4:42 a.m. in the 900 block of 19th Street. This remains under investigation.
● A gas drive-off was reported at 11:18 a.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. Subject returned to pay for fuel.
● Disorderly conduct was reported at 12:55 p.m. in the 500 block of 9th Street. This remains under investigation.
● A gas drive-off was reported at 4:24 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. This remains under investigation.
Monticello Police
MONTICELLO — On April 10:
● Riley S. Henning, Monticello, was cited for driving with suspended license at 8:02 a.m. in the 100 block of Wis. 69.
● A downed stop sign was reported at 2:09 p.m. on North Main Street and East Coates Avenue. The sign was put back up.
● A possible incident was reported at 6:25 p.m. It was found to have occurred in another jurisdiction. The citizen was instructed of appropriated law enforcement agency to contact.
● An alarm was reported at 10:20 p.m. in the 100 block of Wis. 69. It was found that the alarm was accidentally set off by an employee. Everything was okay.
● Police assisted Monticello Fire First Response and Green County EMS at 11:30 p.m.
On April 12:
● Police assisted Albany police at 7:10 p.m. at an undisclosed location in Monticello. Investigation is ongoing.
● A missing juvenile was reported at 8:25 p.m. As police was taking information the juvenile returned. Everything was found to be okay.
● Police served civil process papers at 4:38 p.m. April 13.
● A vehicle driving with very loud music was reported at 11 a.m. April 14 in the 200 block of West Wisconsin Avenue. Driver was educated about village ordinance.
On April 15:
● Dogs running at large was reported at 1:01 p.m. in the 400 block of North Monroe Street. The dog’s owner was located.
●Police conducted traffic control for Monticello Fire First Response at 9:48 p.m. on East Coates Avenue and North Main Street.
● Sheena L. McLemore, Milwaukee, was cited for driving while suspended and possession of marijuana at 3:28 p.m. April 16 on Wis. 69 and West Coates Avenue.
Monroe Police
MONROE — On April 14:
● Jeffrey W. Walters, 62, Monroe, was arrested at 3:31 a.m. on an outstanding warrant issued by Green County. He was jailed.
● An intoxicated male was reported at 12:41 p.m. in the 1600 block of 9th Street. As a result, Mark A. Zakula, 67, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of felony bail jumping. He was jailed. Officers assisted EMS at 12:16 a.m. April 16 in the 2700 block of 6th Avenue. As a result, Kyle L.M. Farage, 24, Monroe, was arrested for violating his conditions of probation and parole. He was jailed.
On April 17:
● Aaron V. Dueker, 29, Monroe, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at 12:57 a.m. on 15th Avenue and 7th Street. He was also cited for unreasonable and imprudent speed, no proof of vehicle insurance and non-registration of vehicle. He was released.
● Asia L. Altmann, 21, Monroe, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated and possession of THC at 1:47 a.m. on 13th Avenue and 14th Street. She was released.
● Eric C. Pann, 39, Monroe, was arrested at 2:09 a.m. for violating conditions of his bond. He was jailed.
● Brittany N. Thilmany, 24, Freeport, Illinois, was arrested on a charge of burglary and theft at 8:19 p.m. at a business in the 1000 block of 18th Avenue. She was released.
Darlington Police
DARLINGTON — Nicole M. Cowman, 31, Lancaster, was cited for driving while suspended at 11:50 p.m. April 10 on Wis. 81.
● Gloria E. Mondoza, 17, Darlington, was cited for driving without valid license at 8:20 p.m. April 11 on Wis. 81. A passenger, Edwin G. Ramos Castaneada, 20, Darlington, was cited for underage drinking.
● Ernesto Zavaleta-Garcia, 33, Darlington, was cited for disorderly conduct at 10 a.m. April 16 in the 100 block of Kennedy Street.
Green County Sheriff
MONROE — Jamie J. Walker, 46, Browntown, was arrested on a charge of domestic abuse related disorderly conduct and battery at 6:22 a.m. April 13 at a residence in the 300 block of East Main Street in Browntown. Walker was jailed.
● Jeremy L. Hartwig, 33, Albany, was arrested on a probation hold issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections at 2:53 p.m. April 14 at the Green County Probation and Parole Office in Monroe. He was jailed.
● Kristen M. Brickson, 28, Brodhead, was cited for driving after revocation at 5:51 p.m. April 16 in the N1600 block of County G, Town of Spring Grove.
● Tameka L. Gullens, 39, Madison, was cited for driving without a valid license, her 2nd offense within 3 years, and failure to install ignition interlock device at 1:45 a.m. April 17 in the N3700 block of Wis. 69, Town of Monroe.
Lafayette County Sheriff
DARLINGTON — On April 2:
● A deputy responded for a civil dispute at 7:53 p.m. on 2nd Street in Benton.
● A missing juvenile was reported at 8:16 p.m. on Wildcat Road, Town of Darlington. Darlington Fire Department, Darlington Police Department and Green County EMS of Darlington assisted.
On April 3:
● A deputy responded for a citizen assist at 12:28 a.m. on West Commerce Street in Belmont.
● Bail jumping was reported at 11:07 a.m. on Edison Road, Town of Benton.
● A deputy responded to check welfare at 12:32 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg, at 7:58 p.m. on County C, Town of Argyle and at 8 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.
● An animal bite was reported at 12:47 p.m. on Galena Street in Argyle.
● Theft was reported at 1:25 p.m. on Sunny Lane in Belmont.
● An erratic driver was reported at 4:46 p.m. on County I, Town of Benton and at 6:43 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.
● An animal problem was reported at 6:45 p.m. on West Pleasant Street in South Wayne.
● Richard J. Randecker, 56, Benton, was cited for driving while suspended, no vehicle insurance and non-registration of auto at 11:39 p.m. on Shawnee Road, Town of Shullsburg.

● An ATV complaint was reported at 12:50 a.m. on County W, Town of Benton.
● A deputy responded for a citizen assist at 11:51 a.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.
● A traffic hazard was reported at 1:26 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg and at 6:14 p.m. on Chapman Road, Town of Gratiot.
● A deputy responded for a civil dispute at 2:15 p.m. on Main Street, Town of Wiota.
● Criminal damage to property was reported at 2:52 p.m. on County W, Town of Benton.
● Suspicious activity was reported at 3:40 p.m. on West Main Street in Benton.
● A golf cart rollover was reported at 4:14 p.m. on County G, Town of Willow Springs. Tiara L. Kaiser, 49, Freeport, was cited for operating an ATV while intoxicated.
