On August 19:

● At approximately 9:05 a.m., Officers and Detectives from the Monroe Police Department and members of the Stateline Area Narcotics Team executed a search warrant at the Hemp 1848 business in the 1000 block of 16th Avenue, City of Monroe. Further investigation and collaboration between the Monroe Police Department and the Janesville Police Department is ongoing.

On August 25:

● At 3:23 p.m., officers responded to the 1700 block of State Hwy 69 for a two-vehicle crash with no reported injuries. Investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Charlotte A. Peters, 18, of Monroe, WI, was traveling southbound and attempted to change lanes. Upon entering the other southbound lane, Charlotte’s vehicle struck another southbound vehicle, operated by a 26-year-old Monroe man. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene. Charlotte was issued a citation for Unsafe Lane Deviation and released pending a non-mandatory court appearance.

● At 3:38 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of 14th Avenue for a two-vehicle crash with no reported injuries. Investigation indicated a vehicle operated by Linda S. Harms, 75, of Monroe, WI, was traveling northbound and struck a legally parked, unoccupied vehicle/trailer. Linda’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was later towed from the scene. The other vehicle/trailer sustained no damage. No citations were issued.
