● 3:30 p.m. A deputy responded to USH 151, Town of Belmont for a vehicle in the ditch.
● 3:53 p.m. A deputy responded to County Line Rd, Fayette Township for a one vehicle accident. Kirk A Jenson, 52, Mineral Point was traveling on County Line Rd when he lost control of his vehicle, causing the vehicle to exit the road, entering the ditch and striking a fence, due to slippery road conditions. Jenson’s 2020 Ford received minor damage. No injuries were reported.
● 7:07 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 81, Elk Grove Township for a citizen assist.
● 9:17 p.m. A deputy responded to Bethel Grove Rd, Town of Belmont for a vehicle in the ditch.
On Feb. 10:
● 6:16 a.m. Lafayette County EMS responded to CTH F, Willow Springs Township, for a medical emergency. A deputy and Darlington Police Department assisted on scene.
● 7:04 a.m. A deputy responded to STH 11 in the Village of South Wayne for a welfare check.
● 8:03 a.m. A deputy responded to E Prospect ST in the Village of South
On Feb. 11:
● 12:39 a.m. Joseph A. Boss, 57, Janesville, was cited for Speeding on STH 11, Gratiot Township.
● 1:13 a.m. Mariah J. Hustad, 25, Platteville, reported striking a deer on Lake RD, Fayette Township. No injuries were reported and Hustad’s 2018 Jeep received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
● 7:40 a.m. Deputies responded to Holland RD, Seymour Township, for a welfare check.
● 8:44 a.m. Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on Godfrey RD, Willow Springs Township. Upon arrival, the vehicle was found to be unoccupied. The vehicle appeared to have been westbound, entered the ditch, and struck a tree before coming to rest. The vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
● 10:05 a.m. Lafayette County EMS responded to CTH G, Willow Springs Township, for a medical emergency.
● 1:50 p.m. Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on USH 151, Belmont Township. Peter A. Tarrell, 41, Janesville, was southbound when he swerved to avoid a vehicle the he believed to be turning into his lane of travel. As a result, Tarrell’s vehicle left the roadway and entered the ditch. No injuries were reported and Tarrell’s 2023 Hyundai received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
● 2:12 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 81, Argyle Township, for a welfare check.
● 2:44 p.m. Deputies responded to N Park ST in the Village of Belmont for a civil dispute.
● 4:16 p.m. A deputy responded to School ST in the Village of Gratiot for a welfare check.
● 5:26 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH X, Belmont Township, for a traffic hazard of a hay bale in the roadway.
● 11:12 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 11, Benton Township, for a traffic complaint.
On Feb. 12:
● 1:17 a.m. Argyle EMS responded to E Milwaukee ST in the Village of Argyle for a medical emergency. A deputy assisted on scene.
● 2:11 a.m. A deputy responded to a one-vehicle accident on STH 81, Darlington Township. Kaile W. Scott, 19, Gratiot, was traveling eastbound when he fell asleep, causing him to cross the center line, strike a guardrail, and come to rest in the north ditch. No injuries were reported and Scott’s 2010 Chevrolet received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
● 4:50 a.m. A deputy assisted Darlington Police Department with a citizen assist on W Harriet ST in the City of Darlington.
● 7:02 a.m. A deputy responded to Lafayette ST in the Village of Belmont for a 911 misdial.
● 7:59 a.m. Gary J. Wedig, 64, Belmont, was cited for No Proof of Insurance, on W Mound RD,Belmont Town-ship.
● 10:02 a.m. A deputy responded to S Division ST in the Village of South Wayne for a 911 misdial.
● 10:04 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH W, Benton Township, to keep the peace.
