On June 8:

● At 8:18 p.m., Deputies responded to the W3000 block of High School Rd., in the Town of Jefferson, for a welfare check.  The investigation resulted in Matthew J. Bremer, 53, of Juda, being placed under arrest for Physical Abuse of a Child, Battery, and Disorderly Conduct.  Bremer was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.

● At 9:54 p.m., Deputies responded to the W2100 block of CTH C, in the Town of Brooklyn, for a single motor vehicle crash with unknown injuries.  The investigation found that Anna E. Peters, 31, of Cambridge, was driving eastbound when she failed to negotiate a curve and entered the east ditch where the vehicle overturned.  Peters advised she was wearing her seatbelt and sustained minor injury.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.  Peters was later placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence and additionally cited for Failure to Control Vehicle and Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration (greater than .15).  Peters was later released to a responsible party pending court. 

On June 9:

● At 1:45 p.m., Deputies, Albany PD, Monticello First Response/Fire, and Albany EMS responded to the N5900 block of Schneeberger Rd., in the Town of Mt. Pleasant, for a single vehicle crash with no injuries.  The investigation found that the driver, Susanne K. Siegenthaler, 43, of Albany, was traveling north when she began to brake and then the brakes locked.   Siegenthaler then lost control of the vehicle and entered the west ditch, where the vehicle overturned and then came to a rest.  Siegenthaler advised she was uninjured and her vehicle was later driven from the scene with minor damage.

On June 10:

● At 10:23 a.m., Deputies along with Green County EMS and Monroe Rural Fire Department responded to the N1200 block of Steiner Road, in the Town of Clarno, for a two-vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Jane R. Brayko, 21 of Monroe, was traveling southbound when a motorcycle traveling westbound on the Cheese Country Trail crossed in front of her causing the vehicles to collide. Brayko reported no injuries, was wearing her seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. Brayko’s vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene.The motorcycle was operated by Gary E. Smith, 68 of Genoa City. Smith sustained injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Smith was reported to have been wearing a helmet and eye protection. The motorcycle sustained disabling damage and was removed from the scene.
