MONROE - Colony Brands reports that since opening in June, its Health and Wellness Center has been at or near capacity.
The company's wellness center provides basic health services to eligible employees and their dependents for free.
The Health and Wellness Center, located in the Colony Brands West building, 851 1st Ave., is operated in partnership with Monroe Clinic. Eligible employees can use the Wellness Center for illness and injury, but the main focus of the clinic is wellness and preventative care, with disease management services as needed. Lab services and vaccinations are available, as well as occupational services such as drug/alcohol screenings and pre-employment physicals.
Since opening, there have been 1,721 patients that have visited. The center has a capacity of 400-plus visits per month.
