GREEN BAY - The Blackhawk Technical College Agribusiness Specialist Program at the Monroe campus is the state winner of the Outstanding Postsecondary/ Adult Agricultural Education Program Award.
The Wisconsin Association of Agricultural Educators presented the award on June 27 at the annual professional development conference in Green Bay.
The Agribusiness Specialist program at Blackhawk Technical College was started in 2008, with Dustin Williams as the instructor. The program is a one-year technical diploma program designed to complement articulation agreements with area high schools and feed into a two- or four- year program either at Southwest Technical College or the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
