DARLINGTON - A Barneveld man was charged Dec. 22 with his 10th drunk driving offense after an incident in Argyle earlier this month.

His previous eight OWI charges date from between December 1990 and July 2010.

Ortiz-Diaz signed a $5,000 signature bond on Dec. 22 with conditions that he neither possess or consume alcohol or enter any establishment that has the primary purpose of selling alcohol.

His initial court appearance is set for Jan. 3. The maximum possible sentence for his charge is 7.5 years in prison.
