Shoppers were able to peruse a variety of goods last weekend, Nov. 29 to Dec. 1. The annual Shop Small Saturday was held throughout area downtowns, including Shop for a Cure, held yearly at Monroe Middle School (above and page 2) and the 22nd annual Christkindlmarkt at Turner Hall in Monroe. The event coincided with the Thanksgiving weekend and the unofficial start of the holiday shopping season, which includes Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Giving Tuesday.
