IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY

AMES, Iowa — More than 9,700 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the fall semester 2021 Dean’s List. Students named to the Dean’s List must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.

Dean’s List honoring 1,670 students has been released by Registrar Kelly Browning.

To be named to the Dean’s List, a fulltime undergraduate must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a scale of 4.0, or midway between an “A” and “B” average.

MARQUETTE UNIVERSITY

MILWAUKEE - Local students have been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2021 semester at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

To make the Dean’s List, students must have earned at least 12 credits for the fall 2021 semester and have no disqualifying grades. The GPA threshold varies by college — for the College of Education and the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences, undergraduate students must have at least a 3.7 to be named to the Dean’s List.

The undergraduate GPA requirement is 3.5 for the following colleges: the Diederich College of Communication, the College of Business Administration, the College of Health Sciences, the Opus College of Engineering and the College of Nursing. All other programs have a 3.75 GPA minimum.

WINONA, Minnesota — Amelia Spilde, Brooklyn, was named to the first semester 2021 Dean’s List at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. The list includes 417 undergraduate students who earned a grade point average of 3.6 or better on a 4.0 scale.

Carthage College

KENOSHA — Carthage College has named Cecelia Zink, Stockton, to its dean’s list for academic excellence during the fall 2021 semester.

Dean’s list honors are accorded to Carthage students who achieve a minimum 3.5 grade-point average while carrying at least 14 credit hours during a semester.

UW-MADISON

MADISON — The University of Wisconsin-Madison has recognized students named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester of the 2021-2022 academic year.

 Students who achieve at a high level academically are recognized by the dean at the close of each semester. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must complete a minimum of 12 graded degree credits in that semester. Each university school or college sets its own GPA requirements for students to be eligible to receive the distinction.

MANKATO, Minnesota — The academic high honor and honor lists (dean’s lists) for the past fall semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato have been announced.

Students qualified for the high honor list by achieving a 4.0 straight “A” average, while students earning a 3.5 to 3.99 average qualified for the honor list. 

To qualify for academic honors, undergraduate students must be enrolled for at least 12 credit hours for the semester.

AURORA, Illinois – Aurora University has named Maria Mendoza, Brodhead, to the Dean’s List for the fall 2021 semester. The Dean’s List recognizes full-time undergraduate students who have earned a 3.6 GPA or higher.
