MONROE - Green County Home and Community Education held its annual recognition event on Nov. 17 at the Moose Lodge.
Ursula Meier was honored as Educator of the Year. Honorees were also honored in increments for year of service from 10 to 75 years.
Those honored included Kris Winkler for 10 years of service; Judy Edler and Paula Marty (15 years); Gaida Vickerman (25 years); Alice Ladwig and Harriette Trumpy (30 years); Diane Jones, Barbara Erickson and Corie Grossen (35 years); Lorraine Deininger (40 years); Carol Maveus, Nancy Faith, Mary Ann Krebs and Joyce Anderson (45 years); Ardellis Rufener (50 years); Rosemary Showers and Janice Wyss (55 years); Sylvia Mahlkuch, Donna Ladwig, Marian Trumpy, Kathryn Hanson, Beverly Hartwig and Joyce Moen (60-plus); and Eunice Witt (75 years).
After lunch, a program about Lucille Ball was presented by the Schneiders, Donna Ladwig presented the new holiday letter cookbooks, Bridget Mouchon presented her Family Living report, and door prizes from Colony Brands were handed out. Mary Krebs and Joyce Anderson were in charge of the event.
