MONROE — On Wednesday, July 17 at the 2024 Green County Fair, 34 kids ages 4-8 years old participated in the annual Little Britches Dairy Showmanship Contest. Kids borrowed calves from exhibitors at the fair in order to give showing a dairy calf a try. Members of the Green County Junior Holstein Breeders guided the young showmen around the show ring while the Glenn and Joann Brewer Family provided prizes and a medallion for each participant. Lauren Breunig, the 2024 Wisconsin Holstein Princess, interviewed each showman and served as judge.
