Post prom comm. supper is Feb. 4

ORANGEVILLE - The Orangeville Post Prom committee will be hosting a spaghetti supper from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4 in the high school cafeteria, 201 Orange St.

Price is $6 for adults, $5 for students and senior citizens, and free for children 3 and under.

The meal includes spaghetti with meat sauce, a salad with dressing, garlic bread, desert, coffee, lemonade or water.

Monroe

MTG offering art class for children

MONROE - The Monroe Theatre Guild is offering an art class for children from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7.

"Dribble, Splatter, Spin Monsters" lets children between the ages 5 and 7 have a whirl at spinning a splatter with paint, then adding on to the random design to create a crazy creature.

The cost is $10 for MTG members and $12 for non-members.

The class is taught by Nikki Cooper. Participants should wear old clothes.

Albany

Child screenings to be held in March

ALBANY - The annual Albany Child Find Screening will be held from 12 to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 1 and from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday, March 2.

The screening is for all families who reside in the district who have a child not yet attending a public school program. It is an opportunity for families to learn about their child's overall development before beginning school and giving them a chance to sign up for the fall, as well as an opportunity for the staff to meet upcoming students.
