Argyle Public Library updates

ARGYLE — Beginning May 1, the Argyle Public Library will return to its full 24 hours a week availability. However, note that these are new hours since pre-COVID-19. The library hopes these changes will better serve patrons’ schedules. Masks are still required. Limit of two patrons at a time (unless in a household) with a 30-minute max limitation.

Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays: 2 to 6 p.m.

Thursday, Fridays, Saturdays: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Argyle Public Library staff can assist with job searches and resume creation. They can help search for a job that fits a worker’s skillset and then help edit cover-letter, resume and references for a professional presentation.

Homeschool Book group will be reading “Pippi Longstocking” by Astrid Lindgren. Pick up a copy at the library and join the discussion, games and crafts with the book group at 10 a.m. Tuesday May 10. The event will be outdoors at the Bob Lafollette House, 210 N. State St., Argyle.

The Adult Book Group will be reading “Little Faith” by Nickolas Butler. Pick up a copy at the library and join the discussion at 4 p.m. May 6. This event will be held at the Argyle EMS Building, 210 N. State St.
