MONTICELLO - Green County Ag Chest held their monthly meeting on Monday, Jan. 25, at Monticello. The annual budget was announced for the upcoming year and some accounts were reorganized to work better. High school seniors were reminded that the Ag Chest Scholarship deadline is April 1. The community queens and the County Queen and Princess gave their monthly reports.
Future meetings of the Ag Chest will be held at the Justice Center in Monroe.
The Breakfast on the Farm committee will hold their first meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, at the host family farm of Alan and Yvonne DeVoe, N266 Twin Grove Road. The breakfast will be on Saturday, May 29.
Dairy Days will be held in New Glarus this year. The Dairy Show and parade will take place on June 19. If anyone would like to help out setting up for the dairy show and other activities, contact Trisha Pernot at reccos05gurl@hotmail.com.
