To the Editor:

How pathetic, and sad, that Republicans Todd Novak and Travis Tranel have popped up in the news praising the non-partisan Iowa system for setting the boundaries of legislative districts. They’ve doubtless been itching for 13 years to express this sentiment while they and their Republican colleagues,  steamrolled their way to super majorities in both sides of the Wisconsin legislature. Now the Republicans’ professed strategy is to impeach our newly-elected Supreme Court justice before she even walks in the door of her office. If they proceed, my guess is that they can count on the votes of Novak, Tranel and any other hidden proponents of fair maps within their ranks to get the job done.
