From Michael Moore, Town of Avon chairman
Brodhead
To the editor:
Sheila De Forest cares about our towns. She has been regularly attending County Towns Association meetings for the past year so she can learn more about the issues that small towns are faced with. She has also been visiting town board and fire district meetings to learn about the difficulties we are facing, and give the local officials the opportunity to get to know her. I haven't seen her opponent at even one of any of those meetings. She has also been spending a lot of time in each individual town - not just to ask people to vote for her, but looking for ways that she can help and serve. She is looking to give, not to take. That is the kind of person I want representing my town in Madison, someone who actually understands and cares about us.
