MADISON — Monroe Wrestling Club’s Trace Rowe (2015-16, 95lbs) became a state champion at the WWF Kids Folkstyle Championships at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison on March 22-24. Twenty-one MWC wrestlers competed and six made the podium. 

Dixon Starr (2013-14, 63lbs) placed 6th; Trace Rowe (2015-16, 95lbs) took the top spot on the podium; Eli Schmitz (2015-16, 63lbs) and Aiden Mosley (2009-10, 240lbs) placed 5th; Evelyn Eckdhal (2011-12, 115lbs) placed 2nd; and Ellie Treuthardt (2013-14, 77lbs) placed 4th.
