FORT ATKINSON — The Cheesemakers made quick work of the Blackhawks, earning a clean sweep on Tuesday, April 11. The No. 1 doubles team of Max Petitjean and Ryan Mathiason needed just 30 minutes to defeat their opponents.
Monroe didn’t drop a single set — with Clayton Waski winning a first-set tiebreaker 7-6(2). He then won his second set by a break.
“Our singles lineup played really well, with Clayton picking up the tightest match of the day,” Monroe head coach Matt Bordner said. “He battled well and picked up a nice hard-fought win at No. 4 singles.”
