MCFARLAND — The Cheesemakers finished fifth out of eight teams at the Badger West Conference meet Oct. 30, the final competition before sectionals Nov. 6 at DeForest.

While Monroe-New Glarus didn’t have a champion in any event, the Cheesemakers saw plenty of good performances by their swimmers.

“The girls swam great,” said Haley Kaiser, MNG co-coach. “We are excited for this week leading up to sectionals on Saturday.”
