Knights shoot past Orioles, Juda rolls

ARGYLE - New Glarus junior Tyler Kreklow scored a game-high 19 points to help the Knights cruise to a 61-40 win over Argyle Saturday.

Argyle (4-11, 2-6 Six Rivers East) jumped out to a 9-0 first quarter lead. The Knights rallied and outscored the Orioles 24-5 in the second quarter to take a commanding 15-point half-time lead. Kreklow scored nine of his 19 points in the second quarter to spark the Knights.

Argyle senior Stephan Shambrook scored a team-high 11 points to lead the Orioles and senior Ryan Geissbuhler added 10.

New Glarus junior Evan Hauge and junior Chris Pickett each scored eight. New Glarus (7-8, 3-3 Capitol South) will be at Lake Mills Tuesday.

Juda 49, Kohler 31

JUDA - The Juda boys basketball team had three players in double figures and the Panthers rolled to the non-conference win.

Juda (9-6) jumped out to an 18-15 half-time lead. The Panthers outscored Kohler 31-16 in the second half.

Juda junior Brandon Bauman scored 14 points to lead the Panthers. Sophomore Matt Trotter had 11 and senior Dylan Bauman chipped in 10.

Juda gets back into Six Rivers East Conference play Tuesday when they are at Albany.
