The annual YMCA Football Skills Camp is set for July 29-31 at the Green County Family YMCA's Dr. Scholl Athletic Field.
The camp is open to all football players entering grades four through eight. The camp is a three-day, non-contact camp and meets from 9 a.m.-noon.
The camp will be productive for those just learning the skills needed to participate in tackle football. It will focus on football fundamentals and techniques at all positions; offense and defense will be equally covered.
Campers will use hand pads, hand shields and blocking dummies.
"Our goal for this camp is to instruct, encourage and see that all participant, but most of all have fun learning to succeed on the football field," Curt Elmer, camp director and head Blaze program director said.
Players can register at the Green County Family YMCA up until the camp start date. Call the YMCA at 325-2003 for more information.
