BRODHEAD - A search of a residence in rural Brodhead by members of the Stateline Area Narcotics Team resulted in the arrest of a man on multiple felony drug charges Thursday.

Jordan E. Douglas, 22, was jailed shortly after 7:15 p.m. following a search of his home in the 300 block of Town Center Road in the Town of Spring Grove.

SWAT teams from Green, Lafayette and Rock counties and the Monroe Police Department recovered items used to cook methamphetamine, including pseudoephedrine and lamp fluids.

Green County Sheriff Mark Rohloff said the operation used a "one-pot method," like a 2-liter bottle, to create the meth.

Douglas faces charges of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine waste and possession of methamphetamine precursors. Charges have not yet been filed by the Green County District Attorney's Office.

State court records show no criminal history for Douglas. In July 2014, he was fined after pleading guilty to marijuana possession and underage drinking tickets.

Rohloff said the search was part of an ongoing investigation into the manufacture and sale of meth in the county.

The Brodhead Fire Department, Brodhead EMS, Green County EMS and the Albany Fire Department decontamination unit assisted on scene. Douglas will be held at the jail pending an arraignment, which Rohloff noted would likely take place early next week.
