MONROE - Two oversized loads that will be traveling eastbound through Grant, Lafayette, Green and Rock counties Saturday and Sunday will affect traffic along Wisconsin highways 11 and 81 into Rock County, according to the Green County Sheriff's Office.
SATURDAY
Wis. 11 west of Monroe will have a marked detour starting at Wis. 81 and going west. This same route is considered an alternate route for eastbound traffic as this unit will be moving at a maximum of 25mph and will have several stops along the route.
OVERNIGHT SATURDAY
The County N/6th Avenue West off-ramp from Wis. 11 will be closed overnight Saturday. Eastbound traffic on Wis. 11 will have to exit at Wis. 69 South.
SUNDAY
Wis. 11 east of Monroe will be affected and traffic for westbound on Wis. 11 will be detoured in Orfordville in Rock County The same route is considered an alternate route for eastbound traffic for Wis. 11. It is recommended that semi units take the alternative route as well.
