MONROE POLICE 

MONROE — A motor vehicle crash was reported at 1:38 a.m. Sept. 26 in the 1300 block of 17th Street. As a result, Mark W. Scott, 63, Monroe, was arrested on a third-offense charge of operating while intoxicated and two counts misdemeanor bail jumping. He was also cited for failure to keep vehicle under control. He was jailed. 


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Lori A. Sink, 50, Monroe, was transported by Green County EMS for non-life threatening injuries sustained from a two-vehicle crash at 1 p.m. Sept. 22 on Wis. 81 and County J, Town of Monroe. Alisson S. Posligua Pinta, 21, Chicago, Illinois, was southbound on County J, stopped at the stop sign and proceeded to enter Wis. 81. She then hit a westbound vehicle operated by Sink. Both vehicles sustained severe damage with airbag deployment. Both were towed. Posligua Pinta was cited for failure to yield right of way from stop sign. Monroe Rural Fire Department and Green County Highway Department assisted. 

● Minor injuries were reported from a single-vehicle crash at 9:51 p.m. Sept. 24 on County M and County B, Town of Cadiz. Seth D. Koch, 17, Browntown, was traveling south on County M when he continued through the intersection at County B, entered the south ditch and hit an embankment. His vehicle sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment. It was towed. He was cited for inattentive driving.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Sept. 13: 

● Pamela R. Wymore, 58, Shullsburg, reported hitting a raccoon at 9:54 p.m. Sept. 15 on County E, Town of Darlington. Her 2017 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage. 

● No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 8:49 p.m. Sept. 16 on County Z, Town of Kendall. Wilson Joevany Martinez, 28, Belmont, was eastbound when he failed to negotiate a curve and entered the ditch. His vehicle sustained disabling damage. It was towed.
